Basic strategy:

This deck is my approach on Azorius control. Counter everything with cheap instants and detain with creatures. Most of cards are 2 or 3 CMC so it's a fairly cheap and mid-game concentrated deck.

Tablet of the Guilds thing...:

I know that it doesn't fit here but I'm still looking for a better artifact that will take its place so don't be worried by that :P

Titans and other big stuff:

Those are not key cards in this deck but with those the game is more fun :) Also Sun Titans ability to return 3 CMC permaments to the battlefield allows you to get those Oblivion Rings and Detention Spheres back to play. Archon of the Triumvirate is like your worst high school teacher:

- detention for everyone !
- but teacher....why?!
- because i like to see you suffer...
Frost Titan is where to delay the game.

She's lost control again:

countering and controling the game was pissing me off so hard that at some point i've started to want to play a deck that is strict control but azorius detain showed itself and that showed me the way :) Instants like Dissipate and Negate are here to help :)

Venser, the Sojourner part:

he is the most suitable planeswalker to this deck! at first i thought - WTF?! exile your own card? this is so stupid... but then it occured to me - this gets me another 'enter the game' effect. correct if i'm wrong - exile means 'remove from the game' so... when the exiled card comes back to the battlefield it enters the game one more time, right? if i'm correct this makes the deck so much more fun :) this so awesome :)

Lands and mana base:

most of my decks are monocolored and i don't have almost any experience with building multicolored decks so i've used a basic 50/50 land split. also i've added Halimar Depths and Windbrisk Heights because of the effects :) i'll be very happy if someone would leave a comment on this issue :)
