I understand how you mean for that to happen Foxhound438. What I'm saying is that's not the direction I'm going with my deck. I have 2 Tasigur, the Golden Fang. he isn't my plan. Running Grisly Salvage only helps me if I'm on the turn 2 tasigur plan. The other advantage it gives me is /maybe/ getting value out of a bloodghast or gravecrawler, possibly getting a more relevant creature into my hand. Over all I don't like it for the deck I'm building, if I was more of a dredge deck I would run it, but that isn't what I'm playing, I get no real benefit out of having things in my graveyard.

I've tried to play Lotleth Troll for almost 2 year now in a competitive modern. From all the experiment, I think that Fauna Shaman work wonder, with Chancellor of the Tangle to help you cast either the troll or the elf on turn one( also a singleton Lightning Greaves to protect both of them) Veilborn Ghoul will get you reccurent discard to fuel both your creature. Add 4 Bloodghast and some Gravecrawler and look for creature with madness like Big Game Hunter and Nightshade Assassin put some big buck with 3 Lili

Have you considered Varolz, the Scar-Striped with Death's Shadow and Force of Savagery? also Vengevine could work. +1

first thing, I haven't looked at this deck in a long time and I am far from being in a financial place to put it together, so everything about it is in theory.

Next, I respond to Vengevine in the updates section of the deck. I'm not confident I want to dedicate that much to graveyard interaction, I would rather run Collected Company.

finally, Death's Shadow and Force of Savagery packaged with varolz involves changing a lot of the deck to fit them all in, and adds shadow and force as cards that I don't want Companies to hit. Because they would have to be replacing other creatures I don't think I want to go that route, because it also takes me away from the value that CoCo is and leads me away from where I want the deck to be (a midrange deck that always threatens manaless combat tricks in the form of lotleth troll, able to go wide with a bunch of gravecrawlers and bloodghasts while going tall on a single troll). Varolz dedicates to going big on one creature.

now to Lotlethtroll, I don't know what I would cut to get fauna shaman into the list, and while chancellor of the tangle is good he would take away from my collected company value and be nearly-dead after turn 1 (having a card in my deck that I can only discard to troll/rat isn't good. I'm not realistically getting to 7 mana in any game). Maybe if I was on a fauna shaman plan it would be good, you're right. I don't think I want to be on Fauna Shaman, it just isn't my playstyle. If I ever assemble the deck I'll probably test it out instead of tasigur, but I think I would prefer tasigur to shaman. I like Veilborn Ghoul but I can't think what I would take out for it while I'm running companies in my deck. Maybe I'm trying to pull in too many directions with both CoCo and a dedicated lotleth troll strategy. I think it can work together though. I should probably mainboard Big Game Hunters now. I haven't touched this deck since the format was burn and twin, but with twin gone and eldrazi running the format I think I want them main. Maybe I just get rid of my Birds of Paradise and one Scavenging Ooze for one more land and two Big Game Hunters.

I wouldn't cut the birds. It make your t2 able to cast troll by tapped a land and a bird, while leaving a swamp open to regen him. Plus having a flyer for your sword is pretty useful if it comes down to it.
