The Plan:

Generate a lot of tokens with Talrand, Sky Summoner and Rise from the Tides by utilizing the card draw of Anticipate, Nagging Thoughts, Brainstorm, Telling Time, Frantic Search, Peek, and Pour Over the Pages. Protect the tokens with Xenograft from being destroyed when The Thing in the Ice transforms. Use Part the Waterveil to swing twice with a bunch of tokens and Awoken Horror.

To Stay Alive:

Tokens can be used for chump-blocking, but mainly rely on spells to generate more tokens and trigger the Thing: Counterspell, Mana Leak, Remove Soul, and Warping Wail. The nice thing about Warping Wail (even though it only counters sorceries) is that if you have a couple of Jace's Sanctums in play it doesn't cost a thing. Prism Ring for life gain (duh).

The Stumbling Blocks:

I'm trying to keep the budget around $60, but feel like it needs a faster mana ramp. Any ideas on speeding it up?
