If the Fates Allow

Commander / EDH*

Maybeboard

The Fates choose the destiny of every mortal and god all like. Come and see how they did it. With an army of their own.

This deck has one theme: Enchantments.

If you have enchantment hating friends, this is not the deck for you. I built a theme: Theros. I have always enjoyed the role of the Morai (the Fate sisters) in Greek mythology.

After playing this deck, I feel it is ready to be expounded and planeswalk to other planes. I do like the feel of the deck and want to stay with in the original theme of the deck, which I believe is using the Sisters' abilities. As always I will aprreciate and evaluate any suggestions given. The whole concept of this deck is put a fate counter on a target permanent, and either exile or bounce it, depending on the need of the board.

Things you bounce:Almost everything in this deck has a constellation effect which makes things easier to play and bounce.

But the fun things to bounce are:

  1. Utilize Agent of Erebos's constellation effect for decks that love graveyards, Sheoldred, Whispering One and Glissa, the Traitor will hate you. As will artifact recursion decks, aka Daretti, Scrap Savant.

  2. Thoughtrender Lamia is great to bounce because of her constellation.

  3. Archetype of Courage and Archetype of Finality.

Other things:

  1. Extinguish All Hope . Got a board full of enchantments but you need board advantage? This is your card.

  2. Starfield of Nyx. I know this isn't a Theros Block card but it is in MTG Origins under Gideon's origin story, since he's from Theros. It fits very nicely in here. All those non-auras you have access to are creatures. Pretty fun. And since they're creatures, you can use Triad of Fates's abilities.

  3. 6 cards to strenghten the Morai: Illusionist's Bracers + Magewright's Stone + Oblivion Stone + Rings of Brighthearth + Thousand-Year Elixir + Strionic Resonator. Replication and Duplication and Destruction. What more could the girls ask for?

Other Notes:

If you are going to suggest buying the new Daxos the Returned commander deck, please don't. I've already thought of that and am in the process of incorporating him into the deck. It was a rather fun deck to buy and I am trying incorporate it. I will update the deck with the combinations I have included from Daxos' return from the underworld.
