@Dredge4life: that's actually an interesting idea. I think Tamiyo is honestly too slow to counteract twin strategies and they can counter it with ease. So you will want to play it later on in the game to hold up counter magic. In my opinion, the Titan is better because it can obliterate your opponents lands and you are getting a 7/10 beater.
Overall I like your version. However I believe that Tamiyo is too slow.
As to the matter of 3 Mages and 4 Repeals... that is just personal preference. If you are against more aggro decks then I like the 4th mage but if you are against more Twin I like the 4th repeal. It is up to you. Playtest and see what you like better.

@lemmingllama: hey sorry I just realized I never responded to your comment. (didn't even see it in fact). I like the pierce because it can counter things like Cranial Plating but it is a good idea. I'll have to think about it some more.

@IzzetFanatic No worries. Anyways, it was mainly due to your lack of hard counters. If you have a large amount of control type decks, Dispel can be more relevant. Really more of a meta call than anything.
Also if you really want to hit those cheaper cards, maybe look into Spell Snare. Hits Cranial Plating, Tarmogoyf, Terminate, and all those other goodies. Probably one of the best ways to recover from going second.

@lemmingllama: ok i'll try out Spellsnare. I have about 1 other deck at my LGS and I already wreck it consistently. Its like a rouge UB deck that is very budget. I am mostly dealing with burn, affinity, and some weird sorcery based aggro decks. For now the pierces are working out. Thanks for the suggestion.

Is there any reason you play Talisman of Dominance over something like Dimir Signet?
January 6, 2016 10:46 p.m.
IzzetFanatic says... #9
@Scouty: Sorry for the delayed response. There isn't really a reason that I play the talisman over the Signet other then the fact that it's a little more flexible. For starters, it doesn't need mana to activate which is huge in a deck like this because we can turn 2 play the talisman and then be able to crack of a Spell Pierce on your opponents turn. This can be huge in games against decks like burn.I will try it out however and see which I like better. Thank your for the suggestion.

Wow, what a great decklist. I would suggest building a huperbudget version for those out there that do not have a lot of cash. That is my only suggestion, great decklist!
Oh, and how do you change the background on your decks?

Do you know the process? I know some html and css

@ninjaclevs13: ima be honest. I don't know shit about coding other then how to make a bullet point list. Lots of uses right? lol. Here is the code. MAKE SURE TO TAKE OUT THE SPACES BETWEEN THE <>s AND THE CONTENT. Insert coding in the deck description.

Thank you for the code. However, when u u mean take out the spaces, where do you mean? All this does for me is add a picture in the description.
January 12, 2016 7:32 p.m.
IzzetFanatic says... #17
@ninjaclevs13: the coding should NOT be like this. not like this < CODING CONTENT HERE > take out the spaces between "<" and "Coding Content Here" and then again between "Coding Content Here" and ">"
make sure you have the first bit of coding too.

Ok that makes sense. When I do that, my deck description just looks like this:

the first part makes the page transparent and tells the image to go to the back layer. you need it

I've been looking at U tron as my non-proxied modern deck, and I was wondering something: How does the Burn matchup go?
January 13, 2016 9:01 p.m.
IzzetFanatic says... #24
@jandrobard: Excellent question. It depends on which build you play against. Against the creature heavy version it is an extremely hard matchup. I've played like 8 matches and won once. However if you are against the more Non-Creature heavy version it is a lot better. Still a struggle but you should be winning 65% of the time or so.

Since you are obviously an experience tron player, i'd recommend making a budget tron deck, for beginner players in which can be upgraded to this version. Just a suggestion

With my personal U-Tron list, I'm running 1x Tamiyo, the Moon Sage and 4x Repeal instead of 1xSundering Titan and only 3x Treasure Mage. What is your opinion of Tamiyo for this deck? I don't find the double U to be much of a hindrance and she can totally shut down Twin strategies.
