Behold the power of the phaseforge!

I like golems an I think that they have alot of potential. Mainly the "Splicer" cards. Now I have yet to see a splicer aboose deck that works consistantly.
So I decided to try my hand at it.

This deck was designed to do two things.

1). Summon many semi-powerful golems and mana efficient artifact creatures

2). Abuse "Flicker" effects and Mimic Vat to take advantage of "enter the battlefield" effects and cards like Epochrasite .
Flicker effects are effects that remove a card from the battlefield then return it to the battlefield.

Win Condition
1.) Using the splicers:
Blade Splicer
Master Splicer
Wing Splicer

To swarm the field with "3/3 Golem Artifact Creature" Tokens that all get buffed by the splicers and Tempered Steel.

Overwhelming them, Then attacking with a mix of strong flying/unblockable or simply many creatures of not-insignifigant statlines.

Venser, the Sojourner's -1 Ability makes all creatures unblockable, scares alot of people.

Wing Splicer grants flying to all golems.

Glassdust Hulk Benefits from Splicers and can become unblockable easily with this deck due to it triggering when artifacts "enter the battlefield".
TL:DR, killing them.

Combos:
Combo 1:
Blade Splicer + Ghostly Flicker
Blade Splicer + Cloudshift
Blade Splicer + Venser, the Sojourner
Blade Splicer + Mimic Vat
Blade Splicer + Phyrexian Metamorph
Any splicer will do. These cards all trigger the "Put a colourless 3/3 Artifact creature token onto the battlefield".

Combo 2:
Mimic Vat + Phyrexian Metamorph
This allows you to put a token on the field that is a copy of a creature or artifact on the field. That is an artifact in addition to it's other types. With haste... for only 3 mana.
The tokens benefit from Tempered Steel

Combo 3:
Alchemist's Vial + Ghostly Flicker
Alchemist's Vial + Venser, the Sojourner

Need to draw cards? need an effective way to do so? worry not, Venser and Ghostly flicker have it covered. Venser can exile Alchemist's Vial, and when it comes back you draw a card!

Ghostly Flicker can also flicker lands to reset them, allowing them to be used again for mana. Not completely sure how useful that is though.

Combo 4:
Mimic Vat + Solemn Simulacrum
Ghostly Flicker + Solemn Simulacrum
Cloudshift + Solemn Simulacrum
Nabs you more mana if you need it, thins the deck.
With the Splicers and Tempered Steel, Solemn Simulacrum can become quite the capable blocker and attacker.
Combo 5
Ghostly Flicker
Cloudshift
+ any monster you control in response to removal. This causes the removal to "lose track" of your card. Meaning you more-or-less negate that card and because of the "Enter the battlefield" effects, you may actually gain advantage for doing this.

Combo 6
Epochrasite + Ghostly Flicker
Cloudshift + Epochrasite
Epochrasite + Venser, the Sojourner
Whenever Epochrasite enters the battlefield, but was not cast, he becomes a 4/4. If Tempered Steel is on the field he becomes a 6/6.

Oh And he comes back 3 turns after death for free.

Notes:
Since the deck operates by cards leaving and entering the field, Glassdust Hulk 's effect will almost always be relevant. If he is a dead card early on you can use his cycling ability and summon him later with Scarecrone .

Epochrasite I have been looking through all artifact cards that exist for play in modern. This one might be good, I need early creatures and artifacts. Epochrasite becomes a 4/4 after being flickered and comes back 3 turns after it is killed! As a 4/4! the synergy is real.

Epochrasite Has a strange interaction with Phyrexian Metamorph. So when a Phyrexian Metamorph copying the Epochrasite dies, he gains suspend. Then after the suspend ends, Phyrexian Metamorph may copy another creature and has haste. Simply marvelous if I do say so myself.

Dispense Justice Has always been one of my favorite cards of all time. I'm not sure why I just love the card, it's effective, non-target removal that will usually snipe your opponents two strongest creatures. Bad against aggro and swarm match-ups though. Edit:moved to side

Feel free to suggest combo's or improvements, in fact I would ask that you please do.

Considerations:

I am having a major problem. I have no idea if i should use Cloudshift, Ghostly Flicker or both. Because early(ie first 3 turns), they are useless. maybe I should replace Cloudshift or Ghostly Flicker suggestions please.

The majority of cards in this deck are cheap-ish. The dual lands are 5-7 dollars each but work as buget lands for more than just this deck. You can use basics and it should still work most of the time.

Maybe Board:
Cloudshift Seems very good and cheap. But has less effect than Ghostly Flicker does. alos only targets creatures. Do not want too many flicker cards or the draws will be dead.

Sensor Splicer
I kinda want to run him, Vigilance is great. but 5 cmc? I could try for 1 or 2 maybe?

Stoic Rebuttal
More counter can be great. Metalcraft is more of a bonus here. I already run 2, but more may be better.

Venser, the Sojourner
One of the cornerstones of the deck, but is expensive and rightly so. Drawing more than 1 is bad, most of the time. So running 3 seems good to me.

Actual Edits
Removed Ichor Wellspring for Alchemist's Vial better for what I am going for. I had no idea it existed, it's a great card. A little defense, colourless and cantrips. It's like christmas!

Added Coldsteel Heart Seems like great ramp, a little more mana early cannot hurt.

Important
I really want to make this deck work, but I need help and suggestions.
