Do you have a reason not to play MLD? Usually creatureless Keranos would run some kind of MLDs

Honestly? I have some of MLD in my current version IRL of this deck. The only reason actually is that I play mostly casually and mana screwing ppl was fun for first few matches, then it got boring. I want to focus on control/burn.

Is it a physical deck? How does it run? My brother wants to do a similar deck but in goldfishing it seemed impotent.

Yeah, I have this deck made IRL. Its runnig suprising well, winning probably more than losing in 4 players games.

Often finishing games when burning remaining 2 players for more than 20 damage.

Sounds like a lot of fun

It is fun. At first I planned goin full mono Red with Ashling but that was very uninteractive. Then changed to Mogis, but he was drawing Hate like if we were playing archenemy. Keranos is perfect, letting me to remove essencial targets with 3 burn damage and get more draw when we get lands.

Its all about keeping your counters to defend your enchantments and big burns. Using enchantments to slow down creatures and make them not want to attack you. I love to play Keranos and casting Decree of Annihilation next turn and watch them slowly getting up while I burn and get more cards.

Atm worst matchups are big lifegain decks (thats why we have no life gain enchantments) and quick voltrons as we are not as good at removing powerfull ones (some nasty lands are on the way the way to me: Maze of Ith, Mystifying Maze and Ice Floe, also Tolaria West to fetch them). Sunken Hope is their nightmare but we dont always get it soon enought. Also actually added Fire Servant and Thassa so I wont get Hosed to Telemin Performance-like cards while keeping Feel-Like-Planeswalker theme.

When I get some more cash Ill get all those blue tutors to make it more reliable. Thanks for upvoting!

What an utter wank

Have you ever considered something like Mana Flare? Yeah it helps your opponents out, but it'd help you burn quicker?

Braid of Fire continuesly adds to your mana pool on your upkeeps.

Was thinking about Mana Flare, but as u said, it help my opponents too. But if I ever get one, Ill definetly try it out to pump my mana and end the game in one turn.

Actually, if I take a closer look, it might work better than damage doubler (cheaper and giving 1 more damage with R(X) burns), so I might really consider cuting one and fit it in!

About Braid of Fire, I even got this card, but unlike in my Kumano, Master Yamabushi deck, I dont really have enough mana sinks to use this mana in upkeep.

No problem! I'd been Brainstorming on a creatureless Keranos deck myself, thinking about running things like Mana Flare, Possibility Storm, and just anything chaotic, kinda like a storm :')

Yeah,I too do have more storm-like version of this deck, running simple burn spells, Sphinx-Bone Wand and Epic Experiment combo with graveyard recursion spells that loop it with copy spells for casting whole deck at once.

Also, seen Keranos land discard deck with 80 lands and things like Land's Edge that could treat people with 14 or more damage at instant speed.

i really like this deck. +1 from me. i dont play EDH, but i want to, how fun is it? do you know any GOOD budget builds that incorporate my favorite colors, Blue, red, and black, in that order are my favorite to play. I was thinking about narset or nekusar for a while but narsets expensive for what i want to do, and i dont like the idea of sitting there playing wheel spells and draw cards all day, i dont care if it ALWAYS wins or not, but i want to have fun... and maybe crush a few souls along the way. anyways, i love how you put the card quotes, it actually made your deck interesting to look at. have you thought of any storm cards like Mind's Desire or Temporal Fissure or even the classical Empty the Warrens and Grapeshot. since you have thngs to net you a ton of plays, whether by mana or the broken epic expiriment.

In terms of Grixis colors for EDH, Jeleva, Nephalia's Scourge and Marchesa, the Black Rose are interesting commanders. Jeleva for playing opponents deck and Marchesa for nasty ETB and LTB triggers. Also you might try Vial Smasher the Fierce & Ludevic, Necro-Alchemist, however Smasher got expensive.

I might think about Mind's Desire or Grapeshot to play them off Epic Experiment. Too bad this deck is too good for my playgroup and adding more power might actually paint that "big red target" on my forehead.

What about changing 2 basic lands into Mikokoro, Center of the Sea and Reliquary Tower?

Any thoughts on Fevered Visions Jace's Sanctum and Thought Vessel? There's also Omniscience, but to be honest I don't know what I would change.

About suggestions, Mikokoro, Center of the Sea helps others too much, also is quite pricey and its my IRL deck.

Been thinking about Reliquary Tower but so far, I've had too many colorless lands and never had bigger problems with oversized hand. I don't push draw-theme here, so I don't find it necessary.

For Fevered Visions, same as Mikokoro, don't want to help others, even when it burns them for 2.

Jace's Sanctum might be included, but what You suggest cutting for it?

Thought Vessel same reason as Tower, also prefer Mind Stone.

Omniscience is really pricey but also w/o pushing draw-theme its not so good actually.
