Haha, thanks! I thought puns best suited a straightforward deck when making the description at 2 in the morning.

Thanks, Scorprix! I decided to change it to mimic the Grateful Dead's Steal Your Face. I'll get to the cooler effects at some point.

The thing about Soulfire is that he seems a bit more win more to me. If I'm paying mana to get back spells I'm probably already winning. Kor Firewalker is in the sideboard for the mirror match and doesn't die to Bolt. And Mentor is a 3 drop and doesn't do anything the turn it comes out. They'd be great additions, but they're slow and don't do enough for burn. And they're just win more. The two creatures put me back a turn, and if they die to whatever, it sets me back a turn when I'm trying to kill the opponent as quickly as possible.

switch out combust for Rending Volley.

What WarlockEmmott said. I think you should consider playing one or two Become Immense, and maybe dropping a Destructive Revelry for another Kor Firewalker in the sideboard. Burn is pretty prevalent right now and you already deal a lot of damage to yourself with this deck.

Also, you should totally play Spellskite in the sideboard. It beats Scapeshift, Infect, and is good against plenty of other decks.

Good catch. Thanks.

I was thinking about dropping a Rending Volley for a third Kor Firewalker. What would you recommend to take out for Spellskite? And what's your reasoning on Become Immense?

The main deck actually looks very solid, and sideboard seems fairly good as well, just try to metagame for the most popular decks in the format. Quick question, I always seen in lists 3 Arid Mesa and 4 Bloodstained Mire, wouldn't it make way more sense the other way around? It is something that has always confused me, maybe you have an answer.

It doesn't really matter since both can get Stomping Ground and Sacred Foundry. For me, personally, it's just card availability and Bloodstained is cheaper.

Gotcha, that's what I figured. I've seen a lot of decks have 2 Deflecting Palm in the side, something to think about, probably instead of Smash to Smithereens, because you already run 4 Revelry's.

Yup. You're right. I didn't notice the redundancy in that. Thanks. I like the Palm for Bloom Titan matchup and whatnot.

Yep, anything that's hitting you with massive creatures or one source of damage suddenly gets it turned around completely. Just be careful not to broadcast that you have it too much, or else they won't take the bait.

Do you think Molten Rain is worth including taking up 2 SB slots? Will Tron be that prevalent?

May 30, 2015 4:18 p.m.

RESR says... #22

NoPantsParade: Tron is pretty prevalent and I think it's worth sideboarding against, but instead of Molten Rain I would suggest Stony Silence. It shuts down Chromatic Sphere, Chromatic Star, Mox Opal, Mind Stone, Relic of Progenitus, Oblivion Stone, and most importantly, Expedition Map. Play it on turn 2 and tron's best hope is to draw each of the Urza lands.

There are a few reasons I think one or two Become Immense would be good in your deck. Firstly, your graveyard fills up really fast with burn spells and fetches, making it easy to play. Secondly, if you have any unblocked creatures, which is not difficult for your deck, it's 6 extra points of damage (that's a lot). Even if you don't end up playing it I think you should definitely try it.

What do you think BI should replace then? I've seen a couple of lists running them. I think I already have enough artifact hate in this deck. I'll give SS a try on Monday and see what I like. Thanks.

What about Blood Moon for sideboard?

May 30, 2015 6:13 p.m.

Prehcise says... #25

I would most certainly replace Molten Rain with 2 Blood Moon in the side, maybe even find a place for a third either main or side. It destroys Tron, Bloom Titan and really hurts and often times entirely incapacitates other 3+ color decks such as Abzan.
