Kor Firewalker is better since it can gain me more life in the long run. The Ram only gains me one life per turn whereas Kor can gain me more than one life in a turn playing against Burn.

Yeah, BloodMoon could actually hurt you as well. It's just so good at stopping those decks, however, it may not be the right route for this deck. You could just proxy a few up and give them a try against those decks in particular (Tron, Bloom Titan). If they don't work out, I'd probably include another Molten Rain or two, because if you don't disrupt them, they'll steamroll you once you begin to run out of gas.

I looked around on the Internet, and most Naya Burn players said that they hate seeing Blood Moon played against them. I haven't come across Blood Moon yet, but I'm expecting it at the GP. I think I'm going to stick with Molten Rains and try to find space for one more.

Honestly, I would keep the Combust you originally had for one reason: Siege Rhino
June 2, 2015 3:35 p.m.
You should consider a Forest and a Plains in your land pool so you can play all your spells with Blood Moon up. It also gives you something to look for once your creature is Path-ed.
3 Mountains
2 Plains
1 Forest
That's what I would run. Drop a Bloodstained Mire, Stomping Ground, and a Mountain.

That is why I had Combust in here, ZeDoctor, but then I just didn't think it was worth it. Path to Exile does the same thing, I guess.
cletus008: I did consider playing basics, but every list I've looked at plays no basics except Mountains. I'm going to my LGS this Friday to do some more testing and whatnot and see what happens.

Fair enough...I'm curious to see updates after your testing and the GP for that matter.

Looks solid, I would go 1 less fire walker in the side, sowing salt is better than molten rain IMO. Run 1 magus of the moon in the board. Easier to get rid of than blood moon, but still a thing

I would personally run at least 1 Leyline of Sanctity in the board because it counters the burn mirror, and screws over the discard part of jund unless they have an answer.

I'm against Blood Moon and the Magus since both also shut down my deck. I complete forgot about Sowing Salt, so I might have to throw that in there, but the 3 CMC on Molten Rain is significant. I've got Kor Firewalkers in the sideboard for the Burn mirror, and I might throw in another Lightning Helix into the sideboard. I'm doing some more testing tonight, so we'll see what happens.

take out the fetch lands! The only basic lands you have are mountains, so just replace them with those!

The fetch lands are able to get the dual lands because they are considered Mountains.

you dont even have black so Bloodstained Mire is worse than a mountain

The Mire can fetch Stomping Ground and Sacred Foundry because they're mountains.

I was considering him in the mainboard. What would you recommend taking out?
June 25, 2015 9:21 p.m.
Olivia Voldaren and/or Tasigur, the Golden Fang and/or Chandra, Pyromaster.
They're all good for the right reasons, but seem to be less of "the core" of the Jund build, and thus can make room for Huntmaster of the Fells Flip.
The 6 cmc Tasigur can really hurt off of Dark Confidant despite him being a one-of atm, but he's in there bc he's grindy and Huntmaster of the Fells Flip ia good in a grindy matchup imo w out the possible punishent of the 6 CMC.

That's a good point. I like Olivia Voldaren a lot, so I'm going to keep her in there. That opens up two spots in the sideboard. The sideboard is something I'm still working on since I can't figure out my LGS's meta. The decks are different every week, and I have no idea what's going on. But I'll figure it out. For the time being, I'll throw Chandra and another Fulminator Mage in the SB.

Glad to help!
I also agree on your update, I always found linear decks to be really boring, albeit powerful.
For SB: also take into consderations the weak matchups this deck faces. I never played Jund myself, but I think Tron is troublesome for this build.Your removal is bad vs Wurmcoil Engine and can't touch Karn Liberated.
How to beat Tron? You don't try to beat it's bombs, rather disrupt the enablers:
Expedition MapSylvan ScryingAncient Stirrings
Of course, discard is for that. But end the match w Sowing Salt.
Just food for thought! Good luck

If I can get my hands on them, I'll try to. Wouldn't that shut out some of my own spells? Then again, I can still play some stuff. Just curious as to why Blood Moon would be good even though it hurts other decks with greedy mana bases.
