Again, sorry this is all so late. I've been looking into the crazy power of Battlebond, and I also considered some support shenanigans, but ultimately, the deck's at a point where its flex spots are from these updates, and the rest of the deck feels like it's in a good, solid place until something better comes along that performs a similar function.

Basilisk Collar has started to become an unfun card for me to play. It's only good with Marath, and it's too good with Marath. It became a very awkward draw, so it's gone. I can rely on Bow of Nylea for deathtouch.

Huatli was very good when ahead, but atrocious when behind.

Recruiter of the Guard's strict inferiority to its original iteration was glaring, and I don't believe there's anything left in the deck that Guard can tutor that Imperial can't.

I've been looking to touch up the manabase for months now. Literally just waiting on new and interesting land cycles to come along. Battlebond has provided a gorgeous cycle of duals that, while they don't have basic land types, freely come in untapped, making them more than a welcome addition to the deck.

Vivien Reid seems busted, and not awful when behind, either. Looking forward to seeing how she plays.

Runic Armasaur fits a lot of niches the deck is already playing to, and is a very, very strong card draw engine, one I'm looking forward to making full use of.
