Hey drakereid, I'm curious about a couple things.
First thing is this because the use of Illusionist's Bracers eludes me still. Do you use it to copy Yasova's ability? Or for another purpose entirely?
Second thing. Have you considered Goblin Bombardment as another potential sacrifice outlet? I'm not a fan of not having a free one

UnleashedHavok, the Illusionist's Bracers allows to to steal more than one creature a turn. I did have Goblin Bombardment in the deck previously, but it was rather unimpressive. It does still reside on the 'Maybe' board.
I still like your build. I would suggest some free ac outlets so you can swing with your opponents creatures and then use them for other purposes (search for land, search for new creatures, etc.)

Hey again drakereid. So my deck is actually different than it looks here, I just haven't updated it yet. I do however have a curiosity about exiling creatures for keepsies. I just went sniffing for a Conjurer's Closet today and had a rude surprise. Apparently, there has been a new ruling that states when you flicker a card, it goes back to it's owners control regardless of what the card you use says. Is that really the case?

UnleashedHavok, I'm afraid you've been misinformed. Conjurer's Closet is a key staple of this deck because it brings those creatures back under your control. I'm not aware of the rule that is in question, but in my experience, 'Cards always trump rules' Cards like Relentless Rats and others specifically state that they override rules. So IF there was such a rule (which I don't think there is), this card would trump it.I hope that helps!

Who ever told you that is extremely wrong. Who controls a blinked creature depends on the blink card's text. If it says "...under your control" you get it.

That's what I thought as well! The guy that told me claimed to be a judge.

Wow. Unless there is some brand new rules changes that only he knows about... he is full of it.
If there was such a drastic rules change the Internet would be exploding about it..... crickets chirping
Back on topic, how has only 35 lands worked for you? I am brewing a yasova deck myself and i figured 37-38 lands should be the minimum because of how mana intensive she is

Sorry for all the posts, but i noticed you have Illusionist's Bracers. Sadly, since yavosa's ability is a triggered ability the bracers dont work with it.
Time to switch to Strionic Resonator! But be aware that copying her ability means you have to pay the mana cost again since that cost is part of the trigger.

Thanks for clearing that up for me guys, I appreciate it.
So drakereid, I have a couple of questions. It seems to me that you have to rely pretty heavily on your top deck capabilities. I mean yes you have Time of Need, Worldly Tutor, Evolutionary Leap and Birthing Pod but I don't see actual card draw. Is that enough to get you everything you need consistently? I was thinking that Greater Good could be a great add, and on flavor for you deck.
One other thing. A card I have in my deck that can be a huge issue when paired with Feldon of the Third Path is Phyrexian Ingester. I was letting a buddy use my Yasova deck so we could play some games and he discarded the Ingester off a big draw with Prime Speaker Zegana. He then left enough mana open at the end of his turn to use Feldon's ability at the beginning of each of my turns to bring the Ingester back exiling my commander and effectively neutering my plays since I had no hand.
Anyway, sorry for the novel just wanted to share some thoughts

I have another curiosity, in addition to my previous novel. Have you considered Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker in place of your Splinter Twin? I think that it could be a great trade. Let me know what you think.
January 26, 2017 1:34 a.m.
UnleashedHavok, I did have Kiki-Jiki in here, but with all the combo potential for him, I am steering clear of him.
As for the card draw, I've got some ramp in here to thin out the deck a bit, but given that I am usually using my mana to steal stuff or pull shenanigans with the cards I have out (as opposed to playing more cards), I usually don't find myself with a small (or empty) hand. Greater Good is a great card, just didn't have the funds at the time of putting this together to purchase it. But it fits in VERY nicely with the free sac.

Please add Gonti's Aether Heart to this deck just for the the name of the deck.

Have you thought about Quirion Druid? I like having a couple different ways of doing a thing, and I think he has the ability to shift the game further in your favor earlier than Kamahl, Fist of Krosa. Oh, and my deck has changed a lot since the last time you looked at it. It's actually starting to look a lot like yours.

A quick note about the Willbreaker + Yasova Dragonclaw combo, it's even better than you think. As the stack goes, first you target with Yasova's ability, then Willbreaker triggers on top of that. As I understand it, the stack goes from top to bottom, so Willbreaker resolves first, leaving Yasova's trigger with an illegal target, refunding your mana. So you get to keep Yasova's three mana and their creature for free.
Willbreaker gets even more hilarious with Goblin Bombardment. Steal a creature, sac a creature to the bombardment, uh oh, now you get to target something with goblin bombardment, meaning you get to take the creature you ping, effectively making it a board wipe.
Yasova looks so fun to play, but I'm having trouble tuning my Yasova is.... Mrs. Steally deck for some good play. If you can, I'd love any help you can give me on my deck :)

Stunt Double or Vizier of Many Faces are both better versions of Clone you could add and cheap.

stack your effects right to steal, swing, and sac :P
May 18, 2017 8:27 a.m.
Calliber; good suggestions. I think I'll swap in Stunt Double just because of the 'Flash'.
total_euphoria; I have looked at Fling, but being a single use effect on a single creature, I just don't see the value.
Bababad; I saw this card when it was spoiled and knew it was going to be included. I pulled Hazoret's Favor in one of my packs and it is currently in the deck.
Thank you everyone for the great suggestions. They've given me ideas and I'm going to be making some tweeks to the cards. Please keep the ideas coming.

I know exactly what you mean there but I just love the look on my opponents face when I steal his creature, sac it as if its worthless and then send damage straight at them. Just a shame you can't recur the spell for multiple uses.

Bloodshot Cyclops does the exact same thing and it is repeatable! One of my favorite cards in this deck!

If your going to sac enemy creatures after you control them, I suggest adding Stalking Vengeance. More power to ya.
OH and Hellkite Tyrant wouldn't do ya bad neither.

Looks like a nice deck. Not sure if this helps, but I've got a blue/red deck that's mostly about stealing stuff and it's been doing great. Maybe there's something in there you might like as well. Let me know what you think. Cheers.

Steal Enchantment would fit the theme, excellent for taking gods or big expensive world enchantments.
Thada Adel, Acquisitor counts as ramp in some of my decks. Multiple Sol Ring are great and it's always nice to look through your opponents decks.
