Well, no one wants to play Magic with you after you play this one.
Pure shannanigans. Struggles vs burn (Boon of Erebos, where are you?) but if you can combo turn 5, you really shouldn't lose. Especially deadly in multiplayer!
God hand:T1 - Temple of Deceit (scry)T2 - Devour Flesh their early threat or utility piece.T3 -
Agent of the Fates
T4 - Pass, let them tap out hopefully, then at the end of their 2nd Main phase, flash in Notion ThiefT5 - Whispering Madness, you draw a giant batch or cards while all of your opponents discard their hands and draw no cards.
From this point on you have a huge advantage. But if you don't get the combo, there is a lot of synergy elsewhere in this deck:
Agent of the Fates
plays nicely with the Boon of Erebos as he is often the target of burn or removal. Also, obviously a terror with Hidden Strings...Target him with one half, tap their remaining blocker with other half, attack, cipher triggers after damage is done, target him again...sackity sax.
Consuming Aberration is often an all-star as well...he gets huge when you Whispering Madness, or when you use Cipher creatures, as he will mill every time a spell is played and he gets bigger due to each mill. Sometimes will be a dead card against Scavenging Ooze or other GY hate. Great in multiplayer, though.
Artisan of Forms
really comes in handy if you are not aiming to combo out, as she really works well with the Cipher cards as well...plus, it hurts a lot of feelings if she becomes a Kalonian Hydra for no reason at all...
