Howdy, this is a modern-ized version of an artifact deck I built for casual play.

You may have guessed, but the idea is to beef up cheap-o artifacts (especially Darksteel Citadel or Ornithopter ) by turn 2 or 3 with the Scissors of Doom (Ensoul Artifact). I've seen some similar builds that splash black for to use Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas, but I'm feeling this blue white action and want to see if I can avoid using planeswalkers for this deck. Maybe Heliod's Pilgrim is too costly a tutor for the Scissors, but I thought of it as a contingency later in the game.

As for Ancient Den and Seat of the Synod I figure more cheap targets for the Scissors and more cheap cards that can activate Mox Opal, but I'm not sure if I'd be better off with shocklands/ basics in their place.

I've got Ethersworn Canonist and Phyrexian Revoker in there for control, Dispatch for removal, Thoughtcast for draws. I'm not sure whether I want to consider sideboarding some or all of those in favor of the more typical Arcbound Ravager or Cranial Plating - maybe I do in order to better compete. I'd welcome any and all help - I want this to be competitive but I'm especially keen on any more atypical suggestions for the deck.
