Yeah, I have the 3 Stoneforges in a pending trade. Once I acquire the fourth, it'll go in. My idea was to utilize BoP and DRS to be able to ramp into Sigarda to close out the game faster. You may be right about BoP though. I do like the singleton Sigarda, as she's a beast. Well, Angel technically lol.
I think that Loxodon Smiter is underrated, really. A 4/4 that can't be countered or comes out for free if Lily gets a +1 is pretty boss. It's my Goyf in this build, I suppose. I am questioning the anti synergy between KoTR and DRS, though.
You're right about mainboarding Teeg, I'll make room. I hadn't thought of Sculler, thanks! Need to get my hands on Scooze as well. I've been thinking about a single Thrun, the Last Troll , too.

The birds don't do much, they're good but with SFM you can outrace A LOT of creature decks by playing a t3 batterskull. Sigarda/thrun are neat but are far too costly for what you're deck wants. The smiters are great I SB them for the same reason. But outside of grindy midrange matches they're lackluster. Agajn you can put down a batterskull instead, they're outshined. The birds should be more discatd, combo will eat you alive with out a lot of disruption.

The sword pf feast and famine id say should be fire and ice, true name nemis can block batter skull for days. Having an out for him is a good thing. Umezawa's Jitte Is good for creature heavy decks namely elves.

Good points. I have yet to obtain a Jitte or SoF&I. What I have will do for now, I suppose.

I'm not trying to be overly critical, but it looks like you under estimated how much you need discard vs combo and added much more main board hate for midrange decks than needed

Lol well... Working with what I have.
Merfolk, Show&Tell, Dredge, Affinity, TES/ANT, Elves, Jund, Death&Taxes, Miracles/Counter Top, make up some of my meta. If that helps.

I'd find spots for a few Hymn to Tourach I'm still not a huge fan of sigarda, but it's your call. If you want this to be a more cteature based deck, look up Maverick and Dead guy ale pimers and lists. Neither run lillys and if you work of your current build you shouldn't need bobs/goyfs.

Dark Maverick is a really interesting creature archetype. Then again /avoiding bob. Also, I agree with the Jitte or a few Smallpox, or even Geth's Verdict. They slow down aggressive opponents. Verdict even handles sneak/show and omnishow. Hymn is a better option than thoughtseize in a deck without lifegain as a staple. And, while you have the batterzup, don't expect it to always do the work you wish that it would. Also, you might want to consider Crucible of Worlds, which is a great option with Knight of the Reliquary, Smallpox, and wastelands, in general. I don't run them, but I run Life from the Loam, modern and legacy.

Also, you really should run Krosan Grip in the sb for Blood Moon, Omniscience and other annoying shenanigans.

Oh yeah, and without bob, the Sylvan Library should be at least a 2-of. I run them in my Legacy, and they are absolutely boss when they stick and aren't immediately removed.

If I had the cash for Crucible and Wasteland, I'd be all about that lock. LftL is interesting to consider. I don't think I have the build to be able to support Smallpox, but I did forget about Geth's Verdict and Krosan Grip. Thanks for that!
You make a good point about the Library. I'm looking at acquiring a few more.
I'm looking to make this competitive enough to run with friends and the seldom Legacy events at my LGS. I think it can do well there and I can have fun with this deck. I'll probably never take this to an IQ or PTQ kind of event, tho.

So, klone13, trying to make this competitive enough w/o Bob, Lily, and Goyf. Thoughts?

I was typing an explanation for thalia sb then i saw she was on ur sb lol. Ok, well with the amount of fetches you have Crucible of Worlds might be viable. Secondly if Dryad Arbor dies, you can recur it, and Ghost Quarter.

Man, you and that CoW! Lol
True enough, though. I just picked up a Jitte, which will be added soon. Ima haveta pick up a CoW next. Although I can see it working well in this build, mayhap it'll work in 12 Post better?
May 15, 2015 8:42 p.m.
Hey, I love that card xD. Don't h8 m8.
Anyway, yeah better in 12post, but also good in here. It would be a good 1-of in each.

Yeah, Crucible of Worlds is badass in Legacy, for sure.
I'll have to play with it once I acquire one. I can see the potential on paper, which is great, but I suppose I won't appreciate the awesomeness until I play with it.

Elbrus, the Binding Blade Flip+Stoneforge Mystic is something that just has to be done.

I played the rock when phyrexian plague lords and deranged hermits were a things, aka the good old days. I like what your trying but have you thought about Volrath stronghold, or dust bowl for lands. Volrath makes your creatures returnable and dust bowl is a great option if you down't want to dish out for wasteland. Honestly I play both and ghost quarters in Stax but that's not right for this deck. For creatures I like Sun Titan as a finisher with pernacious deed, for planeswalkers I lime the concept of Nahiri but I don't know if she is quite up to her potential yet. I think maybe some more equipment even some of the less used ones like Death render which can help get some fatties down early or more absurd ones like Argentum Armor which sort of abuse SfM and Nahiri. Remember its the late game that matters. Just survive the early game disrupt combo and put out more stuff than co trol can deal with and boom good to go.

titanreaver, Volrath's Stronghold is an interesting idea. Dust Bowl seems a lot like Tectonic Edge, but may be worth considering. I like Ghost Quarter in a meta without a lot of non-basics, which will function a lot like a Wasteland.
Deathrender and Argentum Armor are interesting thoughts, but I'd rather play Sword of Fire and Ice, Sword of Light and Shadow, or the other two swords in my sideboard. Being able to hardcast them if necessary can be important late game.
Nahiri is here for the LOLZ, fun factor, and hey, she's another SFM. Sun Titan and other six drops really don't fit well in a deck like this, as chances are they'll never see the light of day. I like to top the curve at 5 CMC. Sigarda, Host of Herons is a favorite of mine, though.

I love the deck concept. The only suggestion I have is to hone the SB. There are matchups where you need your whole playset of Abrupt Decay. By adding +1 Abrupt Decay you are better protected against 85%+ of the field. Just focus the SB down for your store, regional, and state meta and you should be even more favored to win your tournaments.

Thanks! I've been slowly tweaking and improving this list.
I had the playset main, but will probably add the fourth to the side. If I were to add an Abrupt Decay main, what would you suggest I cut for it?

You really want 4 stoneforges, you're cmc is way too high to boot. you have a good start to a junk blade list, I run one myself. Junk Deathblade/rock you don't need birds, theyre sub par. The smiters aren't great. A good too vs shardless butG, a bad match up but not a whole lot else. Mainnboard teeg as a GSZ targetnis great as is scooze. Tidehollow Sculler is a great card for combo match ups.
