I could have sworn I responded to that already...
Worldfire is banned in EDH.

Yes it would, but Worldfire is banned I'm pretty sure

You should sub the mountains out for Snow-Covered Mountains and run Extraplanar Lens.

Nothing in my deck requires snow mana. Would that just be to limit my opponents from benefiting off the Lens?

I had no idea worldfire was banned. Learn something useful every day.
Was about to suggest Hellkite Tyrant, but it's already in there. Very solid looking deck.

Braid of Fire may not work in this deck. Once the main upkeep ends, your mana pool empties. I believe that was placed when M11 came out. Unless you can give all your spells flash with Vedalken Orrery

cartwheelnurd, I feel that Heartless Hidetsugu would make me too big of a target. I rely on trying to slowly kill everyone through weird board states and interactions.
I've found that getting Citadel of Pain out early really helps to slow the game down, and Quicksilver Fountain just plain SUCKS for the player that's behind on lands. I need to remember to play this a little later in the game because playing it turn 3 really screws me up, too.
People LOVE me, though, if I get Anvil of Bogardan and Font of Mythos on the field. Then they hate me again when I cast one of my hand disruption spells and they lose the hand they've been molding.
The whole game becomes a cycle of love and hate.

I'm aware of that, mjh107.
I know it's a very bad use for it, but my main purpose of Braid of Fire is to either bait a removal spell or use it with Comet Storm as a win-con. Unfortunately, I have no way of tutoring for either of them, so I might end up replacing it, anyway.
However, Vedalken Orrery would be a nice inclusion, probably in place of Angel's Trumpet.

Changed out a few cards and cleared the comments. Do the changes look fine? I'm debating between Reverberate and Wild Ricochet.

Wild Ricochet. It's double awesome, and four mana vs 2 won't matter too too often.

Last night I realized that Reroute only works on activated abilities and I included it because I thought it was a red version of Redirect. The restriction really sucks.
Wild Ricochet is going in over Reroute.

Tonight, I was in a 4-person pod, down to 8 life, and I had very little board presence. Then I made two people scoop by casting Warp World followed by Scrambleverse...in the same turn. One other person stuck it out, but succumbed to my Utvara Hellkite.
It was a good day for Norin.

I have a deck that plays with some similar themes (A Burning Sensation). I really recommend Stuffy Doll. And I'm really pleased to see Coalhauler Swine in here. That card is awesome.

Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded is great for draw power and craziness

Heartless Hidetsugu is an awesome card to kill everyone at the same time especially with the Furnace in there

Is that alter of Norin the Wary the one you use in your deck? Because that is amazing.
August 13, 2013 3:05 p.m.
Yes, that is the alter I use. It looks better in person :)

Awesome deck but I imagine that most playgroups would want to stab you by turn 5 game 1
