This deck only went 1-3 at FNM this week, although the last game was against a hard burn deck and we finished at 1-2 with him only having 2 life left. One problem I encountered mid-tournament was I drew into a grey merchant on a pain seer trigger. This dipped me dangerously low on health and ended up getting me killed the next round. I will be removing Pain Seer and swapping in Underworld Connections, For the card draw for life mechanic. I found most games I was actually mana flooded, Although a couple I was definitely screwed, just the luck of the card draws I guess. I opted not to mulligan on a 2 land hand ended up drawing into 8 in a row. (and yes I shuffled very well). All in all though I didn't get to play test against another person so i don't feel so bad about the losses. Round 1s loss was to a "Walk the Planes" deck with 12 Planeswalkers, That deck was sick. Round 2 was my poor bad draw I really should have mulligan round. Round 3 I won and Round 4 was real close against that R/W burn deck. Tweeks and tuning should turn this out. Not sure when I will be adding the Thoughtseize but those are on the acquire side of things.
