One of my first mythics, Kalitas, Bloodchief of Ghet has always held a special place in my heart, so I decided to create an EDH deck based around him. The main goal is to get out your ramp and enchantments, which slug your opponents, and then play Kalitas and use his synergies to pull in a win.

Kalitas Synergies

Combos with:

• Most creatures, as you can use his ability on your own when they would die anyway and get a vanilla version of that creature.

• Thornbite Staff allows you to use his ability multiple times each turn

• Contamination as he provides tokens to sac all the time. Hope y'all like black.

• Black Market basically gets you 1+ free mana per turn due to constant removal.

• Sangromancer gets you free life whenever he activates

• Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet makes sure the destroyed creatures stay dead and you get a free 2/2

• Captivating Vampire by giving you more vamps

Make Your Playgroup Hate You

Bring down your opponents with:

• Painful Quandary

• Throne of the God-Pharaoh

• Contamination

• Exquisite Blood

• Sanguine Bond

• Isolation Cell

• Palace Siege

• Polluted Bonds

• Subversion

• Wound Reflection

Then, when they try to target you, tutor for Crawlspace or No Mercy and watch them fume.
