I'm a casual player and am planning on going to my first FNM. Before I spend the money on this Standard deck, I wanted to know what could be better, as I am very inexperienced at building decks.

The main idea of the deck is to get out lots of two mana creatures, sacrifice them/block bigger creatures to get Blood Artist's ability activated. Then use an Immortal Servitude to bring them all back to the field.

I'd appreciate any advise at all, especially with the sideboard (I've never used one). I'm not looking to win, just wanting something to bring to FNM.
