Originally inspired by Kevin Crimmin's Immortals of the Forge deck.Used Athreos, God of Combos as a frame! (Thank you Nash!)

Basically 2-drops that haste in for aggro style early dmg, then when you drop Athreos, and Purphoros, you're creating a situation where your opponent is really FORCED to take the three damage when a creature dies. If they send it to your hand, you just cast it and dealing 2 dmg and attacking in immediately.

A nice way to push the issue is to cast Altar's Reap, replenishing your hand and dealing at least 3 dmg. You want to use these in response to removal spells for optimum efficiency.

Tymaret, the Murder King gives you some versatile tricks as well. For example if you have a second Tymaret in your hand you can cast it triggering Purphoros AND Athreos! Then when it's in the graveyard you can make them trade places as many times as you want... again trigger BOTH Athreos, and Purphoros.

When you get 5 mana, you should be able to cast a really mean Immortal Servitude. Especially fun if you wait for them to cast a board wipe.
