i think sb is the way to go with that one, just because it's so ridiculously expensive. i'd really rather they didnt get anything out that that would be worth the 6 mana for. you'd only want to use that 9th turn or later. but if they pull out a Primeval Titan or something that you want, id side it in.

I love the use of Skithryx. This deck is awesome Here are my suggestions:

Start with 3x Doom Blade. Move GFTT to the sideboard for when it's needed.

Mainboard Ghost Quarter and scrap one each of Islands and Swamps to get there.

Cut Disperse.

Disperse seems really dangerous to cut man. it bounces everything from Oblivion Ring s to Jace, Memory Adept . why cut it?

It BOUNCES everything. Bounce is a bad use of a card in most circumstances, in my opinion. A bounce doesn't deal with the problem permanently unless you counter it, in which case you've used two cards to deal with one. Most of the time bounce is just inefficient.

Thanks for the advice! I'll play around with using Volition Reins (I like how it usually works in your deck Crawling Chaos) instead of Disperse . I'm just worried about the mana cost.

Also, I will be getting another Darkslick Shores to even out the mana curve which will make MBing 2x Ghost Quarter a bit easier.

Not gonna lie, Volition Reins is a bastard to cast. It's just SUCH a good late-game card. After warring back and forth, trading counters and removal, your opponent casts their big bad nasty Planeswalker, you try to counter it, they counter your counter, and then you humbly let it resolve. So you can steal it. It's just so excellent.
