Goblin Guide is DEFINITELY worth it in a format where the perfect mana base exists. It is a lot better than Hellspark Elemental becuase it will deal 4 damage on turn 2 when the elemental will only deal 3 by turn 2.

Goblin Guide also gives you knowledge of what they have in hand...trust me, he's worth it

Jesus Christ, if he doesn't want to run the card let him decide for himself. He can read, he knows what it does.

Goblin Guide costs 9 dollars and not alot of card shops carry 5 of them so im probably never going to own it. And Goblin Guide gives your opponent the ability to draw a mana or adleast plan for the next card they're gonna draw. And im not using Hellspark Elemental , but i would if it costed 1 less.

I like this one. It is similar to my burn deck, but still pretty different. Do you average turn 4 as well?
If you want to check mine out here it is. Fast Effect, You Die
+1 for using the cards that I want to but can not. I am keeping mine all the old cards the way the deck has always been.

I would just stick with old cards as well because i hate new cards. They shouldn't be in Magic but they are so all i can do is make the best nonsituational deck possible that almost always wins. But i am averaging 4 turn wins but lately it's been a 3 turn win deck : ) Hopefully one day the Magic creators wake up and have some pride for once and stop trying to make money off stupid kids and ban all their stupid not real new Magic cards. Ill give you a +1 as well cause you feel the same way.

Hey thanks man. I have some new card decks, I just keep them separate. Took me a long time to accept them though. I think yours is a little faster then mine, turn three at the best, turn 4 average. I think yours has a little more of a chance for a turn 3 then mine though.

Yeah your right. And im still having a hard time playing with them. I refuse to buy any new packs tho. Only singles. And your welcome.

I started playing in drafts, which is what put me back to the new cards. The first one was in M10 I think. No one there knew what lightning bolt was, and I got 5 in my draft deck, and swept the whole thing with a crazy deck.
I also started playing EDH which has brought me back to the game. It is alot of fun.

Im gonna give EDH a try soon. Maybe a draft for kicks one day.

Flame Rift , Goblin Guide , Barbarian Ring , Price of Progress , Searing Blaze , Sulfuric Vortex and for the SB Pyrostatic Pillar are what I'd consider adding if this is serious legacy mono red burn

They are two different, very common, deck archetypes popular in Legacy. I would suggest finding a couple and playtesting against them because they will give you a good idea of what to expect if you ever take this deck to a tournament.
On the topic of advice, I seriously reccomend that you remove Lightning Strike from your deck. It is a terrible card in Modern, mediocre in Standard (corrected if I'm wrong, I don't play standard), and so is abysmally bad in Legacy. Like other people , I suggest Browbeat , Price of Progress , or even Flame Rift . See, Flame Rift is exactly the same as Lightning Strike , but deals 1 extra damage for the same mana and also gives you an edge if you want to take this to multiplayer games.

Alright I added Flame Rift and sideboarded Lightning Strike . It will be a good card as long as your opponent doesn't have you down to 4 or less life, which has happened against mimicking burned decks. Thank you for your suggestions.

It doesn't have to be Flame Rift , it could be Browbeat , which in my opinion is a much better card...

Browbeat is a great card. I guess what everyone is not understanding is that this deck is made to do the most damage possible with the least mana possible in the least amount of turns possible, every time. If Browbeat costed only 2 I would add it in a heartbeat. I win alot of my games with only 2 mana.

I love the sideboarding of Guerrilla Tactics and Skullcrack.

Goblin Guide costs 8 dollars a piece, I am a collector so I put one of every rare and uncommon card away. So that would mean it would cost me 40 dollars to add it to this deck. And must I remind you that it can help your opponent?
January 6, 2014 4:10 a.m.
And thanks. I have those cards sideboarded incase I go against a gain life deck, a discard deck and or destroy creature deck.

Before you jump to conclusions about Goblin Guide , take a look at its Gatherer discussion page found here lots of people suggest it because it is an incredible card and a staple card in any RDW.

Goblin Guide is a 2/2 for R with Haste...end of discussion

Actually Goblin Guide costs too much for what it is and it gives your opponent a chance to draw an additional card/mana. Not worth it.
