The deck and card prices on T/O are manually inputted. They aren't often updated and they aren't generated from any website automatically.

Jace, Architect of Thought on TappedOut is $51.99, but in reality, he's much closer to $30 now.

The same goes for a lot of these cards.

Haha, I didn't realize that. I'm amused that CoolStuffInc offers it for the low, low price of $581. :)

What do you think about Liliana of the Veil in this deck?

Liliana of the Veil always seems to give any opponent trouble. Not once have I used her ultimate, nor do I plan to. It really isn't necessary. I always discard my lands, as I'm usually sitting at 3-5 cards in hand depending on where I've gotten to, and it seems to throw any opponent off. Her sacrifice ability gets rid of hexproof buggers, like Invisible Stalker , Geist of Saint Traft , and including and especially Sigarda, Host of Herons .

With all that being said, I don't need more than 1x of her. I don't have enough flashback cards, or instants I can flashback via Snapcaster Mage , who, by the way, has only been viable against opposing Geist of Saint Traft . He may be coming out.

I lied. I lied to all of you. Liliana of the Veil can't deal with Sigarda, Host of Herons . But I knew that all along...

You should kill off forbidden alchemy and sever the bloodline for 4 cremate or sign in blood. I prefer cremate. U have sever on sidedeck. Much better there than main imo. U need card draw I think, not dumping awesomeness into your graveyard...

Sign in Blood has crossed my mind, but I don't feel this deck is fast enough to spend my own life on resources. Playtesting couldn't hurt.

How does the community feel about taking 2 cards out, like Snapcaster Mage s, for 2 Desecration Demon s?

It's done, +1, please come see mine now... : )

I have no comments, since I don't think I can help you upgrade your deck. It seems pretty good the way it is, but If you have comments for mines, please do so. Thanks and good luck to you for your future FNM... even if I do like to beat decks like yours. There is just to much money in it ! ; )

Am I the only one who thinks Grixis has the strongest sideboard in Standard right now?

Your sideboard should have 7 Thragtusk s

im just curious why you're solicitng upvotes? is there a benefit to having a lot of upvotes on your decks?

November 24, 2012 7:46 p.m.

Lustrigia says... #17

It's just a self goal of mine, they obviously mean nothing but there is a sense of accomplishment out of it.

Plus I love criticism. All the more reason to ask people to upvote if they like it.

I love it, I'll definitely +1 it, here is my Grixis control deck I'm still working on lol. It wins a lot more than not, and is favorable against most everything I've played against.

this deck is good and all but i think if a deck has an estimated cost at nearly $800 it shouldn't be considered "underrated" My friend has a Grixis control (he spent shit tons of money on) so we have played often. My deck- All I want to do is draw cards! is a pretty good match up against his grixis which is A Lot like yours. although bant isn't underrated i think my deck is. Please take a look at my deck! +1 to you good sir.

Nice. Grixis is coming back, and I like it. Hypersonic Dragon Is a favorite of mine for this deck, because instant speed Dreadbore and card:Rakdos's Return is just too good. Would you mind taking a look at mine when you get the chance? Grixis Control

Been a little bit since we've discussed the deck. Needless to say I've made some moderate changes since last discussed.

If it's not too much of drag, I'd like you to let me know one change that could be an improvement to the deck. Thanks again, everyone.

Is Pillar of Flame still that useful for you? It might just be a meta thing, but Pillar of Flame at my FNM wouldn't do me much good, as most people have move on to mid-range decks and aggro decks with shit bigger than 2 toughness, namely Loxodon Smiter .

I would consider Chandra, the Firebrand . Trust me. Just try her out. The best way to use her is to just use her -2 whenever you can afford it, and then +1 when you have nothing worth copying or if you just cast her and don't have the mana to cast a spell.
