If you're going to be playing Boom / Bust in the sideboard Flagstones of Trokair could put you at advantage, additionally it is a legendary land for Eiganjo, Seat of the Empire. I'd suggest it over some amount of basics and Arid Mesa whose inclusion I don't really understand and would love to know

shadeslayerx22good call with the Flagstones of Trokair - I have 1, will throw it in, and will find another. Great interaction with Boom / Bust, though Eiganjo, Seat of the Empire only cares about creatures. The Arid Mesa is for the 2 Sacred Foundrys I just added today. Still finding a balance in the lands

iRidetheTvan I had Ephemerate in this deck in older builds, and I love it in mono-white yorion d&t but I'm not sure this deck has a place for another non-creature spell because of the toolbox nature of it. (Though I am eyeing a 4th Charming Prince)

Interesting, have you considered using solitudes instead of the marches? I know marches get some noncreatures but Solitudes are just too good as a creature based removal. Plus with all the blink it’s some great value

I have def considered Solitudes and was thinking of picking up 2. But the reason I have not yet is because they are pretty expensive for something that would be Sideboard tech. March of Otherworldly Light and Skyclave Apparition do so much work in the deck and I see solitude as a better Fiend Hunter, sided in vs creatures MV larger than 4 (or if more removal is required). Solitude also cannot be fetched with recruiter, which is disappointing.

Though, as I do realize the power of solitude in other decks, it may be worth playing around with.

Where I am right now is basically trying to develop the difference between taxes vs the normal mono- taxes

Oh yea, $-wise apparitions are better than solitudes for sure. I haven't playtested too much with Marchs, but being able to blink a Solitude (even without Ephemerates) is just so efficient. It's good to have another ETB payoff with all the blink in the deck.

As for not being able to be tutored, I am not saying to take out the apparitions, they're still great for a tutor in a pinch so I would leave them in.

My interpretation of going from to means we want to maximize Imperial Recruiter's use without leaving the deck less powerful if we never draw our recruiters (aka not having other good ETBs to pair with the blink). I also use Fervent Champion to take advantage of free sword equip or actually realistic kaldra equip but that's just me

FYI, if you put CMPN after Yorion, Sky Nomad in the sideboard, it will be registered as a companion.

Really cool take on a DnT list! Out of curiosity, what's the reason for Slayers' Stronghold? I understand it costs you very little to run, but I've not seen it in a DnT list before. I'm also curious about the omission of Leonin Arbiter, especially since you are still running the full four Ghost Quarter. You'd think in an 80-card list there would be a spot?

Slayers' Stronghold is a legend in drawn out or even games. It only takes a couple hits from a 5/1 Flickerwisp or a 7/5 vigilant Kaldra Compleat

Leonin Arbiter is just too much of a non-bo. Mono-w just plays around the interaction with Stoneforge Mystic. Add to that Imperial Recruiter and arbiter is just too much messing with my own deck. I did play around with Aven Mindcensor but it didn't really seem so useful.

As far as Ghost Quarter... It's in there mostly for tron? I have been considering trading them out for man lands - maybe Mishra's Factorys. Against heavy removal it can help to just have something that can keep hitting

Even with 80 cards, it's hard to find any extra space!

(thanks for the CMPN tip ^^)

I have to say, I really love the idea of this deck. If Solitude wasn't so horrendously expensive I might actually buy into it. This deck is generally quite outside of my wheelhouse, so I'd have to buy pretty much every card in the deck. Maybe someday :)

Two more things: I don't quite understand the reasoning behind the Giant Killer. I get that it's a tutorable removal spell, but isn't that the reason for running Skyclave Apparition?

Also, have you considered Remorseful Cleric? It's tutorable yard hate, which seems extremely relevant in the current meta (not to mention that a 2 CMC 2 power flyer is probably fine anyway).

Giant Killer is not only surprise removal (who doesn't like surprise removal), but also tapping down a creature every turn can be super useful

Remorseful Cleric I had in the sideboard for a while but it didn't really offer enough value. Clearing the yard once is fine but (though they are not creatures) Rest in Peace and now Unlicensed Hearse provide much more value and permanence. And the fetching there is a minimal issue since in a lot of situations where GY matters you almost need to it in your opening hand. For example, fetch and cast is going to be too slow vs Living End.
