My playgroup didn't have a clone deck in the meta so I decided to remedy that! I made this with cards I had around the house which is why Clone doesn't exist in this clone deck. Some upgrades are coming to me in the mail, Propaganda and some other helpful clone cards. The clones will replace the Control Magic cards. If I copy my opponents cards I'm hoping they'll be less salty with me than if I were to steal them. Besides, who wants to get two-for-oned because they played auras?

I've only played this deck one night but it was a ton of fun. On the surface, Clone seems like a more casual theme but I think it should only be played by more experience players. If you don't have a basic knowledge of how your opponents' decks work, they'll get impatient/unhappy with you if you spend too much time trying to figure out how their own win-conditions work before killing them.

Below are some explanations about weirder card choices!

Insight: So if none of your opponents are playing green this is a dead card. Does that risk outweigh the benefit of all the cards you could draw with this? Maybe. If they're in green they can deal with enchantments pretty easily. But that'll be one enchantment-removal card they're not using on Mystic Remora, Rhystic Study, or Control Magic. It's only in 83 decks on EDHREC, but I like it!

Mind Harness: Limited to two colors, and has that aura issue, okay and the cumulative upkeep issue, BUT IT'S ONE MANA! This could come out eventually but'll stick around for now. This is in only 29 decks on EDHREC. Probably for good reason.

Blighted Agent/Thalakos Seer: These are just so my Sakashima's Student and Mistblade Shinobi can hit. (And maybe draw an extra card or two after bouncing Thalakos Seer to my hand.) A friend claimed there's a card with unblockable and the same mana cost as Blighted Agent. They asked me to play it instead because infect. I probably will.

Counterspell: SHOULD I TAKE THIS OUT? WOAH, RIGHT? I was just thinking maybe it's better to only have counterspells that exile cards, unless they cost only one like Swan Song or even less like Foil or that other card I can't remember the name of. Ultimately, Counterspell is gonna stay in the deck. These blasphemous thoughts I'm having only stem from the complete lack of graveyard hate in my meta. I'm sure someone will resolve that issue eventually.

I'm really looking forward to playing this deck more! Weird/fun/not-easily-seen-on-EDHREC suggestions are more than welcome!

Update 8/19/17

So I swapped out some auras for clones and put in a couple no-brainers (I forgot to put in Cyclonic Rift the first go around). The only one I'm not sure about taking out is Steal Enchantment. No one sees it coming, it's pretty cheap, and it has more utility than you'd think.

Out: Sage Owl, Windfall, Control Magic, Master Thief, Steal Artifact, Steal Enchantment, Mind Control

In: Cyclonic Rift, Propaganda, Stunt Double, Vizier of Many Faces, Tempt with Reflections, Body Double, Duplicant
