Doubling Season is bonkers in Vorel EDH. Also Genesis Wave with Gyre sage evolved like crazy is insane.

Use Quicksilver Gargantuan on Master Biomancer for a huge counter increase.
Do you not want to run any proliferate cards? Contagion Engine
can wipe out the bad guys as well as giving you more counters.
Ring of Kalonia
and Ring of Evos Isle
are cheap, come out early and give you a steady source of counters. Not the strongest cards but useful for counter generation.

Astral Cornucopia is good ( dont know if i said that one already) Freed from the Real /Pemmin's Aura +Pentad Prism with vorel is "unlimited" mana Liquimetal Coating is good if you want to use vorel on your planeswalkers Power Conduit Energy Chamber Coretapper and Chalice of the Void all are in my build too feel free to check out my deck Vorel: 2 times the flavor, 2 times the fun

May I suggest Kalonian Hydra to double your creature counters even more. Overwhelming Stampede is a must have in a Vorel Deck. Also Nylea, God of the Hunt would be a better addition instead of Crowned Ceratok . Instead of Sapphire Drake , maybe Archetype of Imagination . He works well for my deck, Where's my dice bag?

Minamo, School at Water's Edge more than pulls its weight in my vorelVorel, from down in accountering.

What about Bioshift ? it could be really good if you have high counter creatures on board and if you don't have this combo you might like it. Master Biomancer + Progenitor Mimic

Nice build, the name made me chuckle. Spike Weaver for more board control maybe? +1 from me still.

How about Primal Vigor? Although it affects all players, it is like a second Doubling Season.

MasterofMirrodin There is a Prossh player in my playgroup so I don't think Primal Vigor is worth running, but thank you for the suggestion

How important have you found it to be able to tap creatures? I'm just wondering because Aphetto Alchemist could be a more effective way to untap Vorel and being a creature is a bonus in this deck. I like Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury instead of Jace, for the extra dorks, removal and card draw. I also like Garruk Wildspeaker for mana ramp and another way to do the job that champion of Lambholdt and Nylea do for the deck (mass evasion). Voidslime could be worth consideration too.

Although I see it's in "not yours" deck folder, very nice indeed. Still, I have a Vorel EDH that is pretty similar to this, and I have to say you've got some stuff here that would be insane in mine or any Vorel EDH. Nice synergy, looks like a ton of fun - as Vorel usually is - +1 to you, sir.

I still think you should consider Pemmin's Aura and/or Freed from the Real + Pentad Prism for unlimited mana

i would suggest a couple of storage lands, as it makes vorel a potent mana ramp tool, while not costing spots in your deck

JPODS0717 three things: 1-Vorel can't target enchantments. 2-It has shroud, meaning it can't be targeted by spells or abilities. and 3- Darksteel Reactor does the job better

wow i'm stupid lol. Well you said you could generate infinite mana. Also, it's something to push your mana into when you have nothing to play. They cant get rid of it unless they have Back to Nature or something of the sort, which isn't common in EDH. Just a thought, not the best card for the deck, but definitely not the worst. It has potential.
