I cannot contain my excitement over this deck. The inspiration for this deck came from the ability on Doorkeeper which for me screamed pauper milling fun. I love mill decks; I find them extremely fun to play and I love finding fun ways to maximize that card drain.

Features

Doorkeeper : Combos with itself and all of the other creatures to mill cards.
Oona's Gatewarden + Slagwurm Armor : For 5 mana, you get a 2/7 creature with defender...and flying...and wither. What's not to love?
Wall of Shadows / Wall of Vapor + Glyph of Doom : Both reduce damage to zero or prevent damage. Combine that with the deathtouch-like effects of the Glyph and your opponent has a problem on their hands.
Drift of Phantasms + Unearth: If you tutor with Drift, you can call it back easy enough. Could also call back Doorkeeper should he find temporary residence in the graveyard (have to keep the mill engine running!)
Ogre Jailbreaker + Dimir Guildgate : Allows Ogre to attack like he doesn't have defender.

Playtesting - Round 1 — Feb. 24, 2014

After finally getting a chance to playtest this deck, I found the following:

The Dimir Aqueduct/ Bojuka Bog combination was nice but it was much to slow in this deck. I'll run it again in a different deck. Out they go and in go basic lands.
I need to add in at least 2 Muddle the Mixture immediately. I went one whole game never drawing Doorkeeper and just blocking with my defenders, doing some withering and attacking with the ones that lose defender/can attack like the don't have defender. Not a good game at all. MM will improve my chances of getting the Doorkeeper mill engine running.
Memory Sluice didn't perform as awesomely as I would have liked. Tapping two creatures in a defense oriented deck hurt more than the mill for 8 helped. I'm going to try removing all 3 and adding a 4th Tome Scour.

Removed: 2x Bojuka Bog - 2x Dimir Aqueduct - 3x Memory Sluice - 1x Wall of Vapor

Added: 2x Island + 2x Swamp + 3x Muddle the Mixture + 1x Tome Scour

Next round of playtesting, I will make sure to record matchups and results, so stay tuned.
