This is a control deck that relies on countering and other delaying tactics to set-up an incarceration effect, hence the name. There are a lot of illegal cards in this deck for Standard, but I believe that since they were made, then they should be played.

This has gone a lot of revision, after playing a lot in MTGO. Please feel free to suggest cards for the main or side boards. Thanks!

Gameplay:

1. Make use of Counterspells, Mana Leaks, and Silence to delay your opponent combos or frustrate their strategy. These spells may be redeemed from your graveyard with Mnemonic Wall so make sure you choose which one is best depending on the opponent.
2. Azorius Chancery must be played earlier or after you have used up other lands to increase the effect.
3. Bring Venser, the Sojourner only after any of the bouncing cards are in place. It will differ for each game but it's a choice between destroying permanents with Spine of Ish Sah or mass killing with Contagion Engine.
4. Blade Splicer is there to protect you from early attacks and to confuse the enemy that you are a creature deck.

Lockdown Combo (Prison):

1. Silence
2. Mnemonic Wall (Return Silence to hand)
3. Silence again
4. Venser, the Sojourner (Bounce Mnemonic Wall + Return Silence)

Hand Management:

1. Jace Beleren for drawing additional cards, and
2. Preordain to order the manner in which, they are drawn.

Opponent Creature Management:

1. Bounced Contagion Engine
2. Bounced Spine of Ish Sah
3. Karn Liberated exile ability

Kill Cards:

1. Bounced Blade Splicer and/or
2. Master Transmuter + Blightsteel Colossus with Lightning Greaves or
3. Venser, the Sojourner ability "(-1) Creatures are unblockable this turn" with Blightsteel Colossus
