I like the idea alot. I think you could replace some of the fliers for better cards though. Things like Master of Waves , Thassa, God of the Sea . Bident of Thassa feels off to me. I don't know why though. What about adding Paragon of Gathering Mists instead?

playingonabudget Thank you for the suggestions! I will definitely try with those. Thassa is for good scrying, although I think she won't become a creature all of the time, same goes for Master, it's just that this deck doesn't get that much devotion to blue. I don't like the Paragon though, because the hall is easier to cast, and most of my creatures have flying anyway, also because the hall can become a 5/5 too. :)

Bident of Thassa might be a bit too expensive for what this deck is going for. I think 2x Paragon of Gathering Mists would go really well in here. Same mana cost, but instead of potential draw which helps the longer the game goes on, you get immidate damage, to end the game quickly. This deck wants to end the game quickly. Warden of Evos Isle would be great until it rotates out too, don't miss out on that card while you can get some wins with it.

I feel super compelled to play this deck now, looks like a lot of silly fun.

As for sideboard options, Polymorphist's Jest for a pseudo-boardwipe, Chasm Skulker /Coral Barrier /Wall of Frost to buy time and/or squid tokens? I know they're not bird themed (sadly), but eviscerating someones board of 0/1 frogs with squid tokens seems too fun.

Also, Polymorphous Rush once your opponent drops something decent? Upgrading a Vaporkin to a Stormbreath Dragon seems fun.

I was hesitant when I first saw Polymorphous Rush , but when I saw that it's an instant, I just knew that I should put it in the sideboard. I'll put 2 of it.

I just played 3 games against a Bant superfriends deck, and Im loving this deck. I couldn't get any Hall of Triumph , so I threw in a few Chasm Skulker , and ge wrecks shop. Will be heading to FNM with this badboy.

What do you think of Master of Waves ? It's not a flyer and you're not tying to get tons of devotion but It will still be a ton of power for only 4 mana, plus it pumps your Vaporkin .

Hour of Need could be cool for some removal/creature pump

Triton Shorestalker is better than flying!

Nullify is a pretty good counterspell, it counters a lot of things in the meta.

Ordeal of Thassa seems good here since you have tons of evasive creatures that could use the pumps and as an aggro deck the card draw would help a ton.

Crystalline Nautilus is pretty decent since it's a 4/4 for 3.

You really need Thassa, God of the Sea .

Finally, I don't like Quickling since it's only a 2/2 and if you don't have an Ornithopter it basically sets you back a turn.

Nullify Goes in the sideboard. For green matchups.

As for Ordeal of Thassa I already have draw engines here, Bident of Thassa , and Military Intelligence , and I rather drop another creature on turn 2 rather than the ordeal. Thanks though! :)

I have tried Thassa, God of the Sea , she really slows me down. Sorry Thassa. Sure the scry helps a ton, but I'm drawing more than I could scry. I've got that going for me, which is nice.

I really like Quickling , it's more of an anti-removal card, as I don't have much to protect my creatures.

Lovely little deck. I really enjoy that M15 introduced some good blue aggro-ish cards to make decks like this! I love that Military Intelligence and Bident of Thassa just keep the pain coming, especially with Triton Shorestalker !

I did a little testing with a similar version and I really like Crystalline Nautilus . I really encourage you to try it. It's super helpful with Ornithopter and a 3 mana 4/4 isn't bad on it's own.

Toke912 Well there's even Drown in Sorrow , Anger of the Gods , and more, but not everbody plays those. And if they do, we have ways to deal with that. Namely, Swan Song , Nullify .

I hate blue, but love this deck!! This is what I would play if I played standard!! Sucks that Storm Crow didn't get a reprint. +1

Nice deck. I have a deck very similar to this for until rotation, though after rotation it will morph into something similar to this. Only difference between our builds is that mine is a bit more aggressive on the curve, with a total of 16 one drops and Ornithopter . You can't really make this more aggressive without RTR cards, so this is really nice.

Any love for Chasm Skulker ? With all the cards Military Intelligence and Bident of Thassa haul in he gets pretty swole.
