This is a more stax heavy version of In Soviet Russia, Food Chain Eat You (Version 3.0)

In this version of the deck once infinite mana is produced with Derevi, Empyrial Tactician + Eternal Scourge + Food Chain and I draw my deck with one of my food chain outlets, I can either kill the table with a massive Walking Ballista or Cyclonic Rift, then mass land destruction my opponents with Living Plane+Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite to secure victory.

In addition to the improved win condition, this deck has also cut a large number of difficult to cast cards (i.e Voidmage Prodigy) to put less strain on the mana base.

The addition of many new stax pieces allows the deck to slow down the table much more effectively without losing much speed. The following cards have proven to be well worth slots: Thorn of Amethyst , Hokori, Dust Drinker; Sanctum Prelate ; Sakashima the Impostor; Null Rod; Stony Silence; Rhystic Study; Living Plane; Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite; Linvala, Keeper of Silence and Mystic Remora.

While the raw power cannot be denied, Stasis and Static Orb are too disruptive to MY gameplan and require too many cards to effectively get around thier restrictions.

There remain a handful of great cards I have not included due to lack of room. These include: Aura of Silence; trinishere; Glen Elendra Archmage etc.

One downside to these changes is that I have less Food Chain outlets than the original (13 instead of 16). While this could potentially keep me from having the pieces necessary to secure victory the turn Eternal Scourge + Food Chain is assembled in the future, it has yet to be a big problem in testing.

Overall the deck feels faster (at locking down the board) and not much slower (at ending the game). I am pretty happy with the heavier stax focus, but I am always open to new ideas on how to improve the build. Thank you!
