I have a mono-black infect deck that has competed with an eldrazi deck. Control the Contagion uses some zombie tribal effects to pump creatures. May I suggest more control effects. I don't have any great ideas for your deck, but if a game is going longer than anticipated, the best way for me to get it back under control is removal. I personally use Doom Blade and Never//Return.

Personally I would recommend dropping the Woodland Cemeterys for more fetches - You want to make sure you can do something turn 1 and drawing Inkmoth Nexus and Woodland Cemetery in your oppeneing hand makes for sad pandas.

I also think for your sideboard you should be running ~3 copies of Maelstrom Pulse. This will help you deal with Liliana of the Veils as well as token strategies (yay, Lingering Souls). You probably want a couple of Dismembers as well since Bloodbraid Elf is a thing. It also takes some stress of needing discard then and there.
Death Denied could be an interesting one since all your dudes are small. Not a mainboard card but against a lot of removal it lets you run out all your threats. Especially since you only have 16 creatures total you're packing and 4 of those are lands.
You may also want some Field of Ruins in your sideboard to deal with tron. That or Fulminator Mages (assuming you have tron in your meta). I'm not sure if Relic of Progenitus is still the graveyard hate goto but a couple of these could be good too. Shuts down Goyf, New Lili, Delirium, snapcasters, etc.

First off, I love the deck, Phyrexian Crusader is one of my favorite cards. For the sideboard, Relic of Progenitus is catch-all graveyard hate card. It can wipe the graveyard and cycle, or you can save it for a big blowout, exiling a card every turn until the right moment. I would definitely suggest some sort of board wipe, likely Damnation for the sideboard. This can help with decks that throw out a ton of creatures early that just chump your attackers. Against some of the faster decks Collective Brutality is decent as you can trade your worst card, perhaps an extra land, for say a Goblin Guide and a Lightning Bolt. I do not really know what sorts of decks you usually face, but those are some ideas to get you started.
As for the main board, I personally would go down a few discard spells for some extra removal. I have not played the deck, so you obviously know better than I do, but it seems that drawing discard later in the game is not super great. I am obligated to recommend another pet card that I love: Funeral Charm. It is possible that it would be absolutely terrible in this deck, but on paper it seems pretty decent. It can pump, it can remove X/1 creatures, it is instant speed discard (which should not be underestimated), and it pairs nicely with Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth to let your creatures become unblockable. As I was writing this, I realized you had it in your maybeboard, but I am going to keep the above to try to convince you to try the card.
I love the deck, it looks really fun to play. Good luck, and I hope it performs well!

Gitaxian Probe has been banned in Modern for quite a while now. It was in infect main deck before the ban and its ban is the reason for the decline of infect decks in the current meta. Drop the main board Duress for 4 more pump spells. Consider dropping the Phyrexian Crusader. the main reason to run UG instead of BG is because of the unblockable blue infect creature which is markedly better than the Plague Stinger and also because counter magic is more important than removal in the matchup when you run the 4 inkmoth and the 4 blue unblockable man. Honestly I would suggest playing UG instead of BG since the deck is still quite viable without the inclusion of Gitaxian Probe if you can learn to hold back things like Blossoming and Vines and always respect what could be in the opponent's hands. Running IoK and Thoughtseize could give you the advantage that Gitaxian Probe previously did but honestly it is the only thing I would play black for in the main board. Your maybe board now has a robust line up of cards that you could make into a viable side deck. I played Infect for a long time in Standard when it was originally legal and have played the deck a fair amount online and played against some very good infect players as well. A BUG version with discard, the unblockable blue infect man, and the pumps could be good. Honestly though, and i can not stress this enough, the unblockable blue guy is much more efficient than Plague Stinger. Some amount of things like Spell Pierce could be ran in the main deck then also which is what builds with blue usually choose to do. Infect is a deck that wants to be all in and efficient in their plan more and worry about the opponents field less. Only the opponents hand matters, usually. I have seen Vapor Snag see play main deck as well.

For reference, the "blue unblockable guy" mentioned by Gracco is Blighted Agent. I kind of like the concept here of a more Control oriented approach to Infect. After the banning of Git Probe and the printing of Fatal Push, Infect became more reactive instead of the blitzy type of deck it was before. I personally play a BUG version of Infect, I'll link my deck below. I can see by your maybeboard that you're aware of these cards, however I really think they're necessary for Infect. Might of Old Krosa is probably the best aggressive pump spell in Modern, so I would try and find a home for the playset. Mutagenic Growth is free pump, which is also important for when you need to win fast. Noble Hierarch is great if you can afford it, otherwise it isn't that big of a deal. The problem is I don't know what you would cut in order to put these in. I would suggest some of the hand hate and removal spells but those are what make your deck unique so honestly I don't know. But do consider those for the future. I also think the sideboard could use a bit of work, take out some removal for silver bullet cards such as Grafdigger's Cage, Nature's Claim, etc. I also think Shapers' Sanctuary is a fantastic card against any deck with removal. I play 2 in my sideboard. Anyway, I really like this, so +1 from me.

I feel like you are (with the pump mechanics you are going for) missing out on Livewire Lash. Your late game (not sure how long games would go) but against tougher match-ups that you cannot walk infect past, direct infect damage would be ideal.

scholar,
Are you still playing this deck? If so, how's it doing in the current meta?
Also, Path to Exile?
