I built a Nocol Bolas, the Ravager deck, I really liked it and it totally owns face, but in the process of building it I assembled a large collection of Grixis cards. I took the scraps and threw them together. I noticed a bit of a wizard theme so I scooped Inalla out of my trade binder and re-read her ability...

... so... I sat down and pulled everything I could out of Nicol Bolas without fully gutting it. Mainly the good Reanimation pieces, and the signets. I spent a lot of time balancing out the mix, but I am terrible at building a mana base.

The policy here was to keep things fair-ish. I didn't want any tutors for creatures, and creatures are the backbone of the deck. I have considered adding Corpse Connoisseur to grab the Bloodline Necromancer as he is key to the strategy.

The one combo I rely on is Ashnod's Altar + Bloodline Necromancer + Inalla, Archmage Ritualist it requires stacking triggers carefully, but you quite quickly make a massive army of 3/2 lifelinkers. another less good, but way more fun combo is Dualcaster Mage + Rite of Replication this one adds up to less a game winner and more an excuse for everyone to nuke the board, but it sure can be funny.

The real power in this deck is consistantly being able to grab value from Inalla triggers. Riverwise Augur becomes draw four put two back, get two 2/2's, one with haste. it ramps any individual ETB effect into an A+ ability. Spellseeker is a super-star in this deck, play her and grab Cyclonic Rift and Reanimate or if you're desperate, Gamble.

This deck is at it's best when you're playing reactionary, you can do a lot of work with some draw effects and the occasional bounce. not to mention squeaking out the occasional chump.

I need help, money is not really an issue, but original dualies are out of bounds. Also, I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to running off color fetches (don't @ me). Aside from that, I need to balance the colors and maybe rethink my aversion to ETB-tapped lands.

any-hoo. suggestions are super-duper welcome. I love this deck, and the more my playgroup hates it the better.
