Maybeboard


This deck is about using sacrifice/reanimate loops to get all the Inalla triggers, while keeping up enough mana to pay for them.

Most of the cards draw, discard, reanimate, and sacrifice wizards.

When wizards enter the battlefield, you get to do “combo”-y stuff with the stacking and resolution of triggers. For example, a Bloodline Necromancer can be reanimated by its own copy by sacrificing it before the Inalla trigger resolves, giving you 3 (or more, depending on available mana) reanimation triggers, which you could use to get that many ETBs, death triggers, and/or copies of a powerful wizard in the graveyard. There's something similar you can do with Apprentice Necromancer + Ashnod's Altar . You'll want a cup of coffee close by.

You can end the game by looping Magus of the Mind, Master of Waves (preferably on the end step before our turn), Vindictive Lich, Puppeteer Clique, or Thalakos Deceiver.

In a pinch you can go infinite with Bloodline Necromancer and Ashnod's Altar. But I usually avoid this, since my goal is to be erratic and do weird things. I like surprise and risk.
