Hey there,I wondered if a mono blue aggro Merfolk-Deck might actually work. And boy does it stomp.

If all goes to plan (wich would be one or multiple Merrow Reejerey and Stonybrook Banneret), you can cast all creatures within the deck for free or even get more mana from of casting creatures.With the Islandwalk ability and cards like Cold-Eyed Selkie, Curiosity or Seafloor Oracle etc you are ensured to have sufficient carddraw to sustain your hand, also meaning from turn 4 on at least 4-6 creatures enter the battlefield per turn.

Part three of the strategy relies on merfolk buffs being Master of the Pearl Trident, Merfolk Sovereign and Merrow Reejerey ensuring that your tiny fish are becoming a unexpected wave simply stomping your enemy.

If thats not enough, Wake Thrasher will become more often than not at least a 20/20 card by all the untapping thats going on through Merrow Reejerey

Weaknesses to the deck are: Control playders in multiplayer (in 1v1 they wont have enough control to stop you, after you reached 4 mana in play)and very early (turn 1/2) damage based removal spells dealing 1 or 2 dmg.
