I see a lack of Felidar Sovereign ...

I love that card I really do and it would go great in a more diverse w/b life gain control deck, but for an "aggro" deck like this it's costly, like I said amazing card but it costs to much maybe tho I am still thinking thank you phantomsts

I just felt that it was (somewhat) a soul sisters spinoff. Aggro lifegain. Going up against a mirror match (I judged a GPT where the finals was soul sisters vs soul sisters and after 90 minutes, same 1 was still going). Both ran the sovereign in the sideboard. With the lifegain you have goin on (Rhox Faithmender as an example), I think he would rock in the main. I think 2 (more is most likely a waste, could get away with 1 main/1 side) is a good number.

Well there shouldn't be any late game that's why I don't like divinity of pride or angelic destiny

I know, but I've been playtesting and it does go late game. There aren't enough creatures in here with haste or large enough powers to characterize this deck as an aggro. But lasting til late game isn't a bad thing. It means you gain alot of life, and with that extra life you need a bit of muscle so I say keep Felidar Sovereign in along with Divinity of Pride or Angelic Destiny .

why not Ajani's Pridemate ? it grows a lot

in my opinion of you're rolling Squadron Hawk you should have a playset. Once they're not doing nothing related to your lifegaining archetype i think Ajani's Pridemate might be a better choice, same mana cost, superior p/t.. You lose the flying tough,but for that purpous Serra Ascendant and the spirit tokens should to the jobanyway loving your deck +1i'm testing one myself, maybe i'll put it here later if it turns out alright :p

Without any black sources Spectral Procession is strictly better than Lingering Souls

Also, if you want this to be truly aggro, you really need Ajani's Pridemate , It gets scary big scary fast. I recommend cutting some of your lategame cards for it.

I chose your deck arbitrarily to playtest against my deck, Like A Swiss Clock (I won 2-1 going into like 13 turns because of Trigon of Mending + Coretapper + Voltaic Key until I ult'ed Tezzeret the Seeker both times, but you hit me for about 25 on turn 6 of our 3rd game with three 6/6 Serra Ascendant and others). I found firsthand that it plays very well! +1

I've been trying to get into Modern, and I settled on Soul Sisters because it doesn't require fetchlands. I'm just wondering how Chalice of Life  ^Flip has been going. Does the card work?

Also, because I feel bad commenting on someone's deck without leaving a suggestion, are you sure you want a full four Windbrisk Heights ? I get that it has fun interactions with Honor of the Pure , but it just seems that between that and Ghost Quarter you're going to have some trouble actually playing your cards.

ectoBiologist I've been contemplating on pushing Ghost Quarter down to two or three it is really only in here for tron match ups. I have been hitting a wall on mana with it though. As for Windbrisk Heights it works be cause I can snag a Ranger of Eos or a Spectral Procession , but it doesn't have to be just those cards if I need an extra land I can grab it, obviously I don't want to pay mana for a land but if I have to I do. So I do find it very helpful running 4 but as for ghost quarters I think I'll bump it down to 2 thank you for the advise!

ectoBiologist I forgot to mention Chalice of Life  ^Flip . Because I attack with an pridemate and tap it to get an extra damage if needed and once I get over 30 it's a extremely quick beat down for my opponent so yes it works
