Sideboard

This deck is retired! Thanks for your support!

I've wanted to make this deck for quite some time, but I never really knew how to do it. Then I looked at Hex Parasite and Spellskite and realized that their abilities could be used as much as you want to lower your own life at instant speed. On top of that, using Death's Shadow makes turns like Marsh Flats into Godless Shrine into Thoughtseize advantageous! This is complemented by the Fateful Hour mechanic, which I love but is often hard to use.

The funny thing about this deck, is that because of the four maindecked Spellskite and Hex Parasite, the deck has some easy strong matchups against GW Auras and Jund/Junk decks. Many people will be unprepared.

The Turn 3 Win:

Turn One: Marsh Flats, Godless Shrine untapped, Thoughtseize on your opponent to get rid of removal.

Turn Two: Isolated Chapel, Hex Parasite. Activate Hex Parasite for 0 a couple times on the target of your choice to get your life around 11. Cast Death's Shadow.

Turn Three: Plains. Attack with Death's Shadow, get your life down to 1 or 2 with Hex Parasite, cast Double Cleave on Death's Shadow and Faith's Shield to evade removal and blockers. Hit for 20-24 damage and win!

Deck Strategy/Card Choices

Lands

I employ every passable pain-land. I can take 5 damage from lands alone in a game, and things like Caves of Koilos are helpful when trying to pinpoint Fateful Hour. Vault of the Archangel is used to save you when all else is lost. Don't go using it unless it's actually necessary-or in other words, unless you're definitely going to die otherwise.

Setup and Suicide

This point is arguably the most important. You need to keep blockers off the board and get your life low. Plunge into Darkness can bring your life down while pulling out your game-enders. Orzhov Charm deals with blockers while lowering your life. The other functions can be useful, too. Thoughtseize pulls out threats and removal and allows you to suck down your life at the start of the game. Ranger of Eos can pull up a Death's Shadow + Hex Parasite combo. If the game goes long. This can often ensure a turn 6 win with protection. Spellskite and Hex Parasite can lower your life at instant speed and can be sacced to Plunge into Darkness .

Finishers

The deck employs some beaters that can really finish the games impressively. Death's Shadow really kills, and half the deck damages you. Thraben Doomsayer can buff your tiny creatures that lowered your life in the first place, and crank out chumps to deal with attackers (at 3/3 they're barely chumps anymore).

Not Dying

You can die really easily with this deck. Angel's Grace stops your frequent deaths to Lightning Bolt and the like. Faith's Shield functions much the same way, but can also sneak your guys through for final damage.

Sideboard

It's fairly straightforward. Just a selection of cards to deal with the current meta. Grafdigger's Cage and Suppression Field against Pod, Linvala, Keeper of Silence, Torpor Orb and Suppression Field against Splinter Twin, extra disruption against control, Kataki, War's Wage against Robots. Path to Exile can kill Wurmcoil Engine, etc. Any suggestions here would be great.
