You'd be surprised how many people are reluctant to block on turn 2. Round 1, almost no one does. Round 2, almost everyone does, which is where Rancor comes in. or you just pitch a Giant Growth so their blocker dies, but your elf, nexus, whatever doesn't. The Inkmoth Nexus and Ichorclaw Myr really help in the second and third rounds when blockers start to become a problem, but even then, this deck is pretty hard to beat.
I'll probably remove the Preordain from this deck all together. Gitaxian Probe has actually proven more useful to let me know what removal people are holding on to.

Yeah, I agree that the Probe is probably better (plus you can cast it even when tapped out).
And people would only be reluctant to block Turn 2 if it's the first time you played the deck against them... otherwise they would already know they need to block since you're meta-gaming at that point.

That's why I said round 2, almost everyone blocks. Because one you play against the deck once, you know you're essentially on a timer.

I was thinking some Ghost Quarter and Surgical Extraction to destroy/remove the tron land combo from the game. Then something like Naturalize to just get rid of the Birthing Pod .
Any ideas on what to side in for heavy removal?

Here's a thought. Slaughterhorn in place of Vines of Vastwood . Since you really only hold vines as buff spells anyways, this actually gives an extra +1 for 1 less mana. And, the big weakness of this deck is if they're killing off your creatures... at least this gives you another possible creature to play out if you're in dire need.

I actually use vines as protection from removal more often than not. The problem with playing slaughterhorn is that if I play it as a creature it doent have infect, so what's the point? I'd only be running it as a slightly weaker Giant Growth at that point.

You could also Turn 2 win by dropping the Inkmoth Nexus on the first turn and a Forest on the 2nd turn before you attack. Your ideal draw looks like:
Forest , (Glistener Elf or Inkmoth Nexus ), 2x Invigorate , (Giant Growth or Mutagenic Growth )
Which means you can actually mulligan down to 5 cards and still have the potential for a 2nd turn kill... pretty brutal.
As far as defeating this, if your opponent is on the draw, they'll only have 1 mana to work with otherwise, they'll have 2. Obviously any 1 drop creature prevents a turn 2 victory if they block, also Force of Will would mess you up as well as Mindbreak Trap (since you'd be casting 3 spells to achieve this turn 2 win). Daze , Disrupt and Force Spike also screws you if you are using Inkmoth Nexus as you only have the 1 mana and can't pay 1 more. So, as long as you're not playing against blue... lol
