Do you ever have trouble with your island? I've considered running a single island, but I feel that the times I need blue mana for 1 life (as opposed to 3) are far fewer than when I need the green. But with blood moon being a thing, I don't know it I can rely on my hierarchs. Besides, I think I'd hate to see an opening hand with only nexii and an island, or pretty much anything with an islanr, since it's very limited. Thoughts/experience?

lantern and moons can wreck and are prevalent in my meta. the island is the go to when paths are present. ive never been disappointed seeing it.

Also, what are your thoughts on Slip Through Space? Some people (the Professor on YouTube) believes that this will replace Distortion Strike, but I don't really see that happening. I will definitely give it a chance when it drops, but I don't Anticipate it doing well.

Slip Through Space, unblockable and card draw! Sounds like it would be worth at least a playtest.

I'll probably swap it one-for-one with my D-Strikes for an FNM or two, just to see if I like it any better. Maybe this will be crazy for Infect! :D Hehe, it'd be hilarious if this bumped us to Tier One: a little 1 CMC common from OGW...but hey, we did get Become Immense, and that was..."huge" :P

Become Immense really helped out infect, I'm hoping this new one does the same.

I'd also suggest taking out 1 Rancor in place of Become Immense for main board

While I personally no longer run Rancor, I sure do miss them sometimes.

to maximize slip through space youd want to be less wild defiance-ey and have more spell density, like Mutagenic Growths and stuff.
