WI forgot about unnatural predation. It has to go it. The land count is a little high because I think using kessig wolf run could help to speed the addition of counters especially with the crusader. The ichor rats have served me quite well with my hand of the praetors. The only problem I have with Titanic growth is the cost. I think I would rather use something Like mirran mettle since it has a cheap cost to use with the livewire lash

the main problem that i have with skithiryx is that i would rather be able to ead the game on turn 5 rather than play him. feel free to play test and see what you think with the kessig land in there and if you find it serves little purpose then i have a few ideas to throw in there
December 5, 2011 10:46 p.m.
I'll playtest when I get a chance. I just suggest skithiryx because if the game goes on longer than turn 8 and you haven't won, you'll need a finisher. Preferably one with flying and haste, like skittles over there. Along with regeneration. Can't beat that.

I don't deny he's good. I wouldn't mind having a couple in but I this k that the faster I pump out creatures and buffs the better. I know board wipes are my worst enemy but Not much I can do about that except Withstand Death but its Not worth it

I like the idea of Kessig Wolf Run +1
I do however worry about your card advantage, I can see you running out of a hand.

love love love your deck !! i pretty much built my infect deck around this but changed it from a kessig boost to a green pump because the lands are too expensive, if i could give you more then plus one i would :p you should check it out on my profile !!

I'd probably go with Birds of Paradise over the ichor rats for another way to get the red mana. Also Virulent wound may be better suited for the SB. There are two very strong Green miracle cards that would work well in here. One gives a 6/6 bonus for 1 green mana and the other gives 4 +1/+1 counter divided over a few creatures (i think) for 2 mana. Interesting choice with G/B. It was always my favorite infect deck. Glad to see it's alive and well.
You may also want to put in some Ranger's Guile to help keep your guys alive long enough to do their thing.
+1 from me. Well thought out. I especially approve of the ichorclaw myr/unnatural predation combo.
I may also like one more kessig wolf run and some way to draw cards.

The most expensive Infect deck ever!
Why the high CMC creatures like Praetors and Skithiryx? Your dragon has evasion, granted. But have you thought about Putrefax ?

I prefer the swarm method for infect. The only reason for the fewer high CMC cards such as skittles is more or less in case I hit a late game (longer than 4 turns) and from play, it seems to be more stable than just a small creature full if pumps. Since spot removal is the major problem and field sweepers aren't, a full field is deadly. The only reason I chose not to use him is that I want to keep my green count low. Basically thT the only reason

Not yet. I rarely break out my infect decks (not very popular around here) so it's normally just when someone wants to play. Usually I don't play matches with it just because I never usually sees any tournament play. Always down for ideas though just in case I do. Also to put my idea better in my last comment, what I meant is that it's harder for me to power out a Putrefax than skittles or Hand of the Praetors . Dark Ritual is not nearly as good for him

Hmmm I personally love b/g infect. It's my main deck. And it does well consistently. I see a few problems with this deck. For black and green to work well together, you need a good amount of pumps and creatures. Green in infect is there for pumps. Especially if youre running livewire lash.
I suggest lowering your land count to 20-22. You don't want dead draws of land in bg infect. I'd drop it to 20 personally, but that's just me.
I'd take out all of the ichor rats. Leaving you with 8 spots open. I'd put in 3-4 titanic growth. 2 unnatural predation. And 2 skithiryx the blight dragon.
If you'd like some other suggestions you can check out my bg infect.
