Sideboard

(Outdated description.)

My Infect deck. When I play tournaments I'll replace the Invigorates with Prey's Vengeance s.

Most of the buffing spells are pretty self-explanatory, I think. There are eight removal cards, and the Virulent Wounds can be sided out against bigger decks for Doom Blades and/or Tragic Slips.

Virulent Wound is in the sideboard for when I play against mana-dorky decks or things of that nature.

Autumn's Veil is a great sideboard card for any kind of control match-up, and as there are plenty of things to take out, getting it in the deck is no problem.

Primal Bellow is included for the longer kind of game, as it's not really good until at least turn seven or eight. But on the other hand, the whole deck functions best in the first four turns.

Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon is likewise for a long game and is a potential game-ender. 4 Infect damage in the air with pseudo-haste is difficult to overstate. Once he's out the opponent should get a little scared.

Rancor is just a complete all-star in an Infect deck. Trample is so good with the number of buffing spells in this deck. No need to expand.

One thing that bothers me with this deck is the lack of Livewire Lash and Wild Defiance . My justification for excluding them was that they have no immediate effect. What do you think of that?

Comments always welcome. Thanks for reading.
