Idk about Might of Old Krosa simply because I have to cast it as a sorcery for the full benefit. I put in Giant Growth so that if I have multiple attackers and the opponent tries to block some, then I can still get an extra 3 poison counters by using it on an unblocked attacker.

Why has this got the same name as another Infect deck???
Also Sleight of Hand and Telling Time are just bad, You want to kill as early as t2-4 Not draw cards. ..
February 5, 2015 8:07 p.m.
Oh I didn't know it had the same name as something else. Changed it right away. What's wrong with getting card draw? I could use those to filter out cards I won't need and get something I could actually use if I don't have enough to win turn two or three.

Or you could have a pump spell onstead of them and win right there and then.

maybe Brainstorm instead of Telling Time simply for speed
February 12, 2015 9:55 p.m.
Haha that's ok Theredhood99 I do that a lot. Just the other day I was wondering why no infect decks were running Invigorate. Live and learn right haha and thanks for the upvote :).

Noble Hierarch is stritly better than Birds of Paradise in this deck because it taps for both colors that you need and pumps up your guys for an extra infect. I would also suggest that you replace Hinterland Harbor with a card that's guaranteed to enter untapped(City of Brass maybe, since life doesn't matter to you), because in those hands where a land does enter tapped, it is crippling for such a fast deck like your's. Lastly Inkmoth Nexus is a beast of an infect creature, as it can't be targeted by Abrupt Decay or sorceries, and it has flying, so it will almost always get in
March 4, 2015 8:06 p.m.
I am aware that Inkmoth Nexus and Noble Hierarch would be amazing cards for this deck. I plan to pick up a playset of the nexus in the future I just can't at this moment. Noble Hierarch is just way too expensive for me so I don't think I'll be picking that one up. City of Brass is a great suggestion though. I never really thought of it when I was deciding what lands to use. I was kind of sad to see no simic fast lands or a simic version of Grove of the Burnwillows but this will work out just fine.

Yeah, I understand, that's why I suspected they weren't there, but I just thought I'd suggest them to make sure you weren't missing out. Hopefully, Noble Hierarch will get reprinted in modern masters 2 and it's price will go down. And as for Grove of the Burnwillows, since it was originally a future-shifted card, that means that it was a sneak-peak and it will be coming back in a later set, probably with the rest of the cycle. I always secretly hope during spoiler season that they will finally reprint it with it's friends. I hope it happens soon, because I love that card so much
March 4, 2015 8:36 p.m.
Yeah no worries man. Thank you for the suggestions :). And yeah I hope the hierarch gets reprinted as well as a simic burnwillows. Do you have any other suggestions? I also have no idea what to do for my sideboard other than some potential removal for melira.

I would suggest playing some Misty Rainforest and potentially cutting the Rogue's Passage seeing as it only supplies colourless mana which, with your current mana base, can be quite detrimental. In addition, I don't think you need much more unblockable things seeing as you already have Distortion Strike and Blighted Agent. Overall sick deck though...+1 for me!
March 4, 2015 8:48 p.m.
Thanks man! I realized after playtesting that Rogue's Passage wasn't really doing much. I plan to replace it with Inkmoth Nexus when I get some haha. I would love a Misty Rainforest or two, but again I don't really have that much money to buy some. So I'm gonna hope it also gets a reprint soon.

you could always run some off color fetches as well(such as Wooded Foothills), They are able to fetch up your Breeding Pool since it has one of the land types. The off fetches work in most builds, but I would advise play-testing with them before you buy them as they sometimes just don't work.
The fetches from khans are getting pretty cheap though, and after it rotates out they are going to shoot up in price

Yes Inkmoth Nexus is a great card, and I feel you, I'm playing a midrange deck that really should be control except I don't have the money for Liliana of the Veil or Cryptic Command sigh
March 4, 2015 9:07 p.m.
That's a great idea for the fetches ill definitely consider that.
March 4, 2015 9:07 p.m.
Hey there. I would definitely replace the City of Brass with actual fetches. They help in so many ways. Shuffling, thinning out the deck, and they can grab breeding pool when you need access to both. Think about it some. I would play 3 or 4x Distortion Strike They are allstars in this deck. Also i prefer Sleight of Hand or Serum Visions over Telling Time which i think is still inferior to probe, which is great because then you dont have to waste your turn one when you could be elfing.
April 10, 2015 12:49 a.m.
I was actually considering replacing Telling Time with Serum Visions I just don't have any at this point. I do see your point with the fetches but I can't afford those right now and definitely won't be getting them anytime soon unless there's a reprint in return to zendikar.

Change out the Birds of Paradise with Wild Defiance and the Ichorclaw Myr with spellskite
April 27, 2015 8:33 p.m.
I can't replace the birds of paradise with wild defiance because wild defiance is slow sometimes when I want to win turn 3 or 4. Having 4 of them means I might get one every game and I'm not sure i want that. I have the ichorclaw myr because I feel like only 8 infect creatures is too small an amount an might require me to mulligan more than I want to.
April 28, 2015 7:08 a.m.
Take out - 1x Apostles Blessing - 2x Groundswell - 2x Birds - 2x Myrs - 1x Serum Visions - 2x Islands - 5x Forests - 2x Breeding Pool - 4x City of BrassAdd + 4x Noble Hierarch + 1x SpellSkite + 1x Sleight of Hand + 9x Green Fetches + 1x Probe + 2x Become Immense
