With so many cards that cost 3 mana, why WOULDN'T I have Infernal Plunge ? Thanks for the suggestion.

I like it, seems pretty cool.
I might try card:Red Sun's Zenith instead of Fireball , just for the exile effect on creatures, since paying the fireball for multiple creatures is very hard. Lots of decks use graveyard manipulation, so exiling is always good. And, for a bonus, it keeps on happening. Also, for that little bit of "oomph" when you need it, maybe a Hero of Oxid Ridge or two, for the extra power when it counts.
Good deck idea, would love to see something like that at an FNM to see how well it does. +1 from me.

card:Red Sun's Zenith would be a good card, but after playtesting this deck, it seems to have a good ratio of cards to finish off opponents. Fireball can spread its damage over several targets (Including infinite damage to multiple players, if I'm thinking right), and Devil's Play can be played from the grave at any time after the first go. Good suggestion, though.

True, TheVampireMS. card:Red Sun's Zenith does get rid of pesky creatures who would otherwise return from the grave. I think I'll add Red Sun's Zenith to the deck, and Fireball on the sideboard. I like how it gets shuffled back in the deck, as well.
I'm not really too sure on Hero of Oxid Ridge , though. The deck focuses on swarming Myrs for the purpose of defense, as well as for mana and using Myr Turbine to get out your core of 2 Myr Galvanizer s + Palladium Myr or 2 Iron Myr s. Myr Superion and Myr Battlesphere are two heavy hitters that can more easily end up on the field, and still provide that "oomph" you might think is missing.
Thank you for the support, it's greatly appreciated.

I think that the main problem that you will have is that you will shit your hand out really fast and be top decking which will leave you open to DoJ etc so i think you need some draw to be honest which will increase your chances of going infinite too. i would probably recommend Howling Mine to you as it is colourless so will fit nicely and is cheap again meeting your deck requirements. this will increase your chances of finding important combo pieces and should mean you dont just sit there top decking. it is probably personal preference what you would drop if you were to take my suggestion though to be honest i might drop the Myr Propagator and maybe 1 Iron Myr and 1 Palladium Myr tis looking good though hope i helped

@maiden77: Although I do like Howling Mine 's cheap and easy use of drawing power, I feel like it helps the opponent more than yourself (considering they benefit from the artifact, don't have to pay its cost, and get first dibs on its effect). Otherwise I'd say it'd be perfect.
@ApocryphalSaint: Thanks for the compliment; it's certainly a useful combo. And although Blaze was the first card I thought of putting in this deck, the likes of Fireball , card:Red Sun's Zenith , and card:Devil's Play make this card fairly obsolete.

maybe splash black for Phyrexian Arena or use card:Mind's Eye but the mine is the best way to draw cards without a colour really that is affordable

You said you're looking to get into competitive Magic. What format are you building this deck for? Standard? Modern?

@mafteechr: I'm not really sure, honestly. I probably won't be playing outside of just between friends, but the concept and metagame is interesting to me.

Ah. If you ever want to take the deck to an FNM or anything, it would have to be standard legal. The only card that you would have to change is Howling Mine .

I was moreso experimenting with Howling Mine anyways; the deck doesn't seem to perform much better with it than before. Not really sure what FNM is, though.

FNM: Friday Night Magic. A weekly event held at comic/game shops all over world. A great place to meet new people and play Magic.

Some card draw would be nice, because it's just so darn fun to get that combo out. it doesn't really need it though. i think splashing white for Rally the Peasants and Selfless Cathar could really wreck! it'd make the deck more creature focused, but hey, it already is. Hope this helps! +1 for mono red myrs, i like the idea.

I'm actually thinking about trading the Iron Myr s for Silver Myr s and replacing some Mountains with Sulfur Falls to splash Think Twice . Yes? No?

sure, yeah sounds good. but if youre only going to put one draw card, i'd go with Ponder . it's just ridiculously useful.

Blue Sun's Zenith to search if you don't have your Devil's Play and/or Red Sun's Zenith ?
