Slots in the deck are already pretty locked between ramp, finishers, and value cards. I don't really feel like the listed cards (as great as they are) can replace my other choices on the list without interfering in some way. When playing this deck I just outramp other decks and play my own proactive game so I don't want to develop a lot of reactive card picks. Thank you for the suggestions though, SirSchmoopy111! :D

When I see any blue deck with Infinite in its concept, Palinchron (with your Deadeye Navigator) is the first thing that comes to mind. I'm surprised you don't have it here or at least a Peregrine Drake. It would work nicely with Tooth and Nail. Unless you dislike infinite combos, your commander is perfect to turn any infinite mana combo involving Deadeye Navigator into a win con.
Also, no Burgeoning and/or Exploration? They provide excellent ramp.

Sorry, Megalomania, I don't do the whole infinite combo thing in EDH :P as fun as it would be... Haha!
Exploration has been on my radar for a while, but most of the time my lands are coming into play from my library rather than my hand and when they do come from my hand it's probably either very early or when my board is exploding and I have tons of cards in my hand. I'll give it a try though! :D

Yeah, combo isn't for everyone. My playgroup has learned to deal with it the same way I learned to deal with the idea of having to win or be the first one to die. Lol.

No, but aside from being awesome when I draw my whole deck he doesn't really do a whole lot, and if I do have that many cards in my hand, I'm probably winning already anyway :P thank you for the suggestion though, enpc! :D

Beautiful.
I don't get the Tezzeret the Seeker being in here though.

Glad you like the deck, snotice! :D he's mainly just some additional value. Being able to tutor up a Top or Map puts me in a really great spot and with Eldrazi in the deck, Lightning Greaves is generally GG :P

Aside from my general and Avenger of Zendikar there are really only Planeswalkers that could abuse Doubling Season. Yes it's a fantastic enchantment, but in decks not focused around the +1/+1 or tokens theme it can become a little too situational. I will consider it and do some playtesting though, could prove insane!
Thank you Karns_Pyromancer for the suggestion! :D

If you want to get really dumb with it, add Followed Footsteps/Progenitor Mimic.
Also, Biovisionary+Infinite Reflection is a great win that can come out of nowhere.

With the emphasis on drawing, Chasm Skulker could get out of hand quickly.

Cards no good Simic deck with combo shenanigans should be without (or in this case, cards that help abuse Prime Speaker Zegana:
Concordant Crossroads, Intruder Alarm, Cloudstone Curio, Doubling Season.
Here's my Zegana deck It's an elf tribal with blue for combo, but you may see some stuff you like!

Thank you for the suggestion, RumoCrytuf, but unfortunately there are a ton of counter decks in my meta, so Cavern needs to be there to resolve some of the big, game winning spells :D

Acidic Slime over Conclave Naturalists imo
I always have to recommend Nostalgic Dreams in a draw heavy build like this.
Kiora, the Crashing Wave is always extremely handy. early game she tends to ramp you well with her explore minus. she staves off opposing commander damage with her +, just all around handy. And that ult.

oh and Cackling Counterpart/Polymorphist's Jest are extremely versatile in commander and you should consider them :)
solid list though!

I don't see how you could achieve infinite turns. You have no infinite mana combo. But really cool build. I might try it out.

Thank you Mr_Sausage! Yeah, you just cast it all again on the next turn, haha, glad you like the deck!
Great suggestion on Acidic Slime Bababad, I was thinking in terms of body size for Prime Speaker, but utility on the Ooze is probably more valuable. Another card I liked was Kiora, her early is pretty solid, I'll try to find room!

Yeah I have a home brewed Modern Simic deck to beat my friend at his own game haha...
Are there any counters in this deck?
And yeah I almost bought Speaker for my Modern deck but I was like "might be too heavy for modern, but Commander would be bomb to have!!"
Do you have any general tips for a first time Simic deck builder?...I mean its pretty solid, but would like your input if you have any regardless!... :)

My girlfriend runs this deck and she crushes. I would definitely add a Panharmonicon as it is completely brutal with Zegana.

I can't believe I hadn't thought of that yet... Great addition Rlverwlnd!

Great looking deck! I have a Rashmi deck I started building that runs a fair amount of the same cards. I'll definitely have to add an extra turn spell since I have all the other pieces (minus crystal shard), thanks for the idea! Zegana might have to go in too :) I'd definitely find room for that Krosan Grip through. There's so many combos that can only be stopped by that Grip. It's saved me so many times.

I see you have Rapid Hybridization, why no Pongify or Reality Shift?
