too bad it doesn't Duskmantle Guildmage x Mindcrank with a single instance in a free for all doesn't kill every body... unless you manage to mill someone without killing them...

I'm working on a modern mill deck with Bloodchief Ascension in it. Once you get the counters on it all you need is a 7 card mill then you win. Still looking for a good way to get the counters on it.

since you have the Doom Blade you may want to consider Countersquall , it saves you 1 colorless, and if Mindcrank is out the 2 damage also mills 2.

@dextroses, red works better with Bloodchief Ascension than blue does, in my opinion. For example, Lightning Bolt , Volt Charge and Staggershock . I made one but need to convert it to Modern, and am looking for a spot to slow creature aggro
