Maybeboard

There is a reason this mighty Djinn is known as Elsha of the Infinite . You see, Elsha is able to peer into the future and see what it may hold. What does the mighty Omniscience of Elsha see? Infinite possibilities, and with the aide of Kykar, Wind's Fury , Narset of the Ancient Way , and Teferi, Master of Time Elsha plans to harness the power of these possibilities!

The goal of the deck is actually fairly straightforward: Defeat your opponents using big red X spells. This is done through Banefire , Comet Storm , Crater's Claws , Red Sun's Zenith , and Jaya's Immolating Inferno . However, getting up to the point where we can do this is the difficult part.

Our first goal should be to Ramp, Ramp some more, cast Elsha of the Infinite , then Ramp again! Next we just have to survive. Our main way to do this is to slow down our opponents as much as possible. The upside of this is you aren't really putting out threats, so your opponents may leave you alone. On the downside, you may annoy your opponents so much that they decide to just take you out, because of this we have to be careful. Don't draw too much attention to yourself by countering everything under the sun, just lay low until the time is right to cast a big red spell or two.

So in summary here is the gameplan:

Our ability to slow down our opponents is crucial. Without it, it will be difficult for us to stay alive since we don't create much of a boardstate.

One of the ways we make sure we slow our opponents down is to just make their stuff enter tapped.

Making our opponents stuff cost more will surely annoy them, but slowing them down by a turn should be quite effective.

Counterspells can slow our opponents down by ensuring that some of their crucial pieces never hit the field. However, do not be over-zealous when using them. Just hit the crucial pieces for your opponents and things that immediately threaten you, going overboard will just turn the table against you.
