What's a good hand? —May 8, 2014
Swamp, Dark ritual, Unearth, Lotus Petal, Buried Alive = put at least one creature in play on turn 1... Would this work as some sort of budget reanimator combo-y thing? no no no....
Ok: Godless Shrine (tap for white), Lotus Petal(use), Oreskos Sun Guide, Paradise Mantle, [4 cards turn 1) Then: Watery Grave (Tap for blue), Dark Ritual(Tap Shrine)-Equip Paradise Mantle (Tap for blue), 2 cards used w/2 blue & 2 black in mana pool. Play Freed from the Real on Oreskos (w/ UBB), Untap with remaining U. Go infinite on life gain and pillow fort the heck out of the game.

@Minelia5 Why Mana Confluence over City of Brass? "The City is less expensive" was my thinking on that one. they are pretty much functional reprints of each other.

because it is very easy to tap the City of Brass with legacy cards, but I get it if you don't want to spend all the money on that upgrade, or if you don't go to legacy tournaments.
