I think Homeward Path is what he meant, Evacuation can't be used in this deck.

Well, just a couple things from my meta.. people don't play anything but acceleration for the first 3-4 turns, then they start playing swarms of creatures, that being said, have you considered Damnation?

oh i don't know if anyone suggested it already but Corrosive Mentor is great for this deck, double the threat against creatures using infect and wither.

Giving wither to a creature that already has infect is redundant, infect already does what wither does. I only see 2 black creatures that don't have one or the other already, Swamp Mosquito and Suq'Ata Assassin.

a creature with wither and infect gives 2 -1/-1 counters to any creature it touches. it's not redundant it's called extra aggression. someone is less likely to either block or attack you if all their creatures take double damage.
so your creature does 2 damage to another creature, infect kicks in says "i put 2 -1/-1 counters on this creature" meanwhile wither kicks in and says "i too put 2 -1/-1 counters on this creature." the abilities stack.

No sorry, it doesn't cause double damage. They would both try to replace the damage with -1/-1 counters. For instance, infect replaces the x damage with x -1/-1 counters. Then wither does the same thing, changing the x -1/-1 counters to x -1/-1 counters, so effectively nothing happens.
119.3d Damage dealt to a creature by a source with wither and/or infect causes that many -1/-1 counters to be put on that creature.
702.88f Multiple instances of infect on the same object are redundant.
702.78d Multiple instances of wither on the same object are redundant.

I made a similar concept quite a while ago. My current poison EDH is EDH RGB Poison.
With Monoblack, evasion + combat are tricky, but these can help:
Other than that, anything that can draw you cards will be incredibly valuable.

Nice deck, sure it does great 1 on 1. I playtested against my deck Animar, Soul of Elements on here and it beat mine 2-1. The tweaks you've made so far are good. Something you might consider is using artifact equipment that makes it so you can tap creatures to have THEM, not the artifact, deal damage to a target player, like Heavy Arbalest.

- Blightsteel Colossus This card takes out a player in a single attack phase. What's the point point of all your other creatures then? I playtested (on the site) this deck and it sat in my hand.
- Homeward Path Your creatures are very dangerous, this card acts as insurance.

@lil_cheez, bcause Snake Cult Initiation is unnecessary in my opinion, given that most of the creatures in my deck have infect and just a very small number (the rest) have wither/poison.
October 29, 2012 2:22 a.m.
yeah but skittles with Snake Cult Initiation would deal 7 poison right their!

it's what Theonyc said, but actually I just want to know why nobody uses that card lol
October 29, 2012 7:16 p.m.
@theonyc and @lil_cheez, all my swords (ex. Sword of Fire and Ice ) pretty much do what Snake Cult Initiation does and more when equipped to one of my infect creatures.
October 29, 2012 8:48 p.m.
yeah, but its still fairly strong and could easily replace a swamp, the eldrazi enchantment is expensive but would be op in this deck

Nice build. I just made my version of it this week. I'd love to see what you think of it. 21 Day Quarantine. +1 to you.

Sounds good LT and thanks! Left a comment on your deck!
