Ill probably order it this way, replacing City of Brass with Mana Confluence when the time comes.

I've gotten the deck fairly solid as far as getting the correct amount & color of lands I need every game, after that its pretty hard not to be doing something useful because of Sunforger. None of the cards in this deck go over 4 CMC

Forbidden Orchard at face value seems pretty bad, but remember the goal here. Sure they get a few extra creatures but those 1/1's just become more fuel for your spell copies.

Apart from just being a great card in this deck Clutch of the Undercity can help you grab ink-treader if you haven't gotten him yet.

Nivmagus Elemental will eat up all the negative effects of ink treader while becoming a massive creature that can easily spiral out of control.
