Innistrad-Ravnica-M13 Legion of Doom

Modern Control Superfriends UBR (Grixis)

Rhadamanthus

Sideboard

Creature (2)

Enchantment (3)

I had some ideas about playing Grixis back when Return to Ravnica was being previewed, but the draft deck I came up with didn't seem all that great and I never tried to build it in real life. After seeing KrazyCaley's Daily Dose series, I decided to take another look at it as a creatureless control deck. The name comes from the hard turn it took towards being an evil Super-Friends deck

The current list represents what the deck looked like at the last Standard event it participated in. It was fun for a while, but never ended up producing worthwhile results and eventually stopped being fun to play. It's since been retired from competitive play.

This one went out with a whimper instead of a bang, going 2-5-1 at a PTQ for PT Theros. The deck obviously isn't right for the times anymore, and of the games I won (only 2 of the losses were 0-2) very few were actually fun for me to play. The opponents had me play out the win every time instead of conceding when the board position got really bad. Applying turn after turn of crushing oppression and constant burial in card advantage while very little happens to move the game forward just made me feel like a massive d-bag. I turned my last Standard experiment into a personal casual deck (big red koth), but I'm afraid this one isn't going to get that treatment.
