otters I really love Final Fortune and I'm trying to find a room for it. Sword of Feast and Famine is here for the only combo that doesn't require Frenetic Efreet . It's slow but really useful if I lose the efreet. I cut Fury of the Horde because I couldn't always find 2 red cards to pay the alternative cost and was too often a dead card in my hand, but it has a great potential and maybe I will give it another try.

I was searching for some haste enablers and these two goblins can be great, especially Torch Courier , thank you!

As a backup win condition, I run Helm of the Host and Godo, Bandit Warlord . With Helm still in my deck, Godo is essentially a 11-mana "you win" because you can cast him, get Helm into play, equip, and proceed to batter your opponents with infinite combats. When the game goes long, sometimes the duo can cost upwards of 11 mana themselves, and this can sneak out a victory late game. The great thing is that neither card is completely dead by itself, either. Copies of your commanders and extra combats are always good, if a little overpriced.

this deck is awesome!!!

why not using Library of Leng ? The deck has only two "more than seven cards" cards, most of the time I draw an huge amount of cards and I have to discard most of them...

and why using Chromatic Lantern ?

bye

rampaconiglio Thank you, Library of Leng is a really good card, I'll try to find a place for it.

Chromatic Lantern is here because sometimes it helps me when I draw too many lands, but there are better mana rocks for sure

I played with this deck at my local store commander tournament: everyone was watching Zndrsplt drawing 26 cards and then Oukaum kill them all!

I tried it with some modifications so far: Mox Opal instead of Chromatic Lantern and Tribute Mage instead of Snapcaster Mage

I'm also testing it with some more defensive options, like Red Elemental Blast and Pyroblast and some spicy Godo, Bandit Warlord + Helm of the Host . To make room for them I removed some flash cards..

also I saw someone using Venser's Journal and it could be an option...I does fits well with Zndrsplt

rampaconiglio I'm glad these two commanders are getting more respect even out of my town ahahahaha! Thank you man!

I'm not sure about the blasts and Venser's Journal , I find it too expensive, but I really like the other modifications. Maybe I would try to remove something else instead of Snapcaster Mage , it saved me many times during my matches.

You should try Mystic Remora for some intense card draw.

Mystic Remora is a great card! I still prefer Rhystic Study but I will test the Remora to see if it performs better... maybe I can find a slot to keep both of them.

Could you please explain this scenario a little more in depth please? I’m kinda new to EDH and I don’t think I’m quite grasping this scenario.(as follows)

The real problem comes when someone destroys/exiles/bounces your flash enabler after you resolve the first efreet's trigger. Frenetic Efreet will be already dead or phased out, so you won't be able to put other triggers on the stack in response and you'll lose the game drawing your deck. Couldn’t you put an infinite number of Efreet triggers on the stack before your first one resolves? Sorry for all the questions.

Yeah, sure. The combo you're referring to is this one: Zndrsplt, Eye of Wisdom + Frenetic Efreet + Vedalken Orrery, Leyline of Anticipation or Emergence Zone, in the "Winning with Zndrsplt" panel.

Since you can't predict how many coin flips you'll win, you always need to put an high amount of triggers on the stack ("infinite") with the efreet, to be sure to win enough of them to do what you want (in this case draw your deck). If you can't play Thassa's Oracle at instant speed, you lose the game by milling yourself and that's why you need a flash enabler.

This combo, once started, can be stopped essentially in two ways:

1) You lose Zndrsplt, Eye of Wisdom. In this case, you won't be able to draw your deck and you'll have activated your efreet's ability infinite times for nothing. But that's all.

2) You lose your Vedalken Orrery or Leyline of Anticipation.

With every trigger, your opponents can do something in response. So if you put 10.000 triggers on the stack and someone targets your Vedalken Orrery with Abrade, you can respond to that by putting other 10.000 triggers on the stack. In this way you'll be able to finish your combo at instant speed without even letting resolve Abrade.

But if the first trigger of the efreet's ability resolves and THEN one opponent cast Abrade (for example responding to the second trigger) targeting your orrery, you can't do the same thing, since the efreet would be already dead or phased out. You'll proceed resolving the remaining 9.999 (well, not all of them, just enough to draw your deck). You'll draw Thassa's Oracle but you won't be able to flash it, so you'll lose the game by milling yourself.

That's why you need to get rid of Zndrsplt, Eye of Wisdom before this happens, and the only way to do it without a flash enabler is by using Chaos Warp. In this way you can let resolve all the efreet's triggers without drawing more cards than you need (you can remove the homunculus right after drawing the last card in your deck), cast Thassa's Oracle at sorcery speed (if it's your turn) and win the game.

The reason why Chaos Warp works in this scenario is because you're targeting your commander and you can decide to put it in the command zone instead of your library.

Thank you for the quick response. What would you remove from the deck if you were to add Sword of Feast and Famine and Aggravated Assault?

Your welcome!

If you only need those two cards, you can think of a combo that you don't actually like or that you don't want to use. You can remove Mindslaver and maybe a tutor... or Copy Artifact. One easy card to remove is Dire Fleet Daredevil. I love it because is unexpected and can be useful in many unpredictable ways, but it's not necessary and can be replaced with any card.

Excellent decklist. You implemented a lot of synergy and gave me some ideas for my own decklist. Cudoz!

Well, I really was not aware of Chandra's Ignition, in my decklist I go for Gravitic Punch and Fling / Thud, instead. Your list is way more sophisticated than mine, I might have to get some inspiration from your combos. To utilize Mindslaver the way you do is mean at a genius level!

I would definitely recommend to put a Shadowspear in your deck. If you do not get your commander unblockable you will at least generate a lot of life and trample across any defenses.

Thanks, with Mindslaver I decided to join the dark side of Magic

Shadowspear is a great card and the only reason why I didn't include it in the deck is because in my meta is really hard to push the aggro/voltron strategy so I tried to not rely too much on Okaun. But I will definetly test it because I would like to find a room for it, it's too strong.

Krark, the Thumbless(https://scryfall.com/card/cmr/189/krark-the-thumbless) seems to be an interesting insert, if you are willing to go all-or-nothing and take some chaos approach.

I put it in the DLC panel as soon as I saw the spoiler. Finally the legendary Krark has the card he deserves! I'll definetely find a room for it.

Ahahahahaha thank you man! The perfect song to play everytime you successfully pull off a combo

I was curious if you think that running Krark and Sakashima in the command zone and putting the other 2 in the 98 would work with your build the same as what you are used to. It’s awesome to see this peticular build continuing to see some love after all this time. Both by the community and new cards like Krark. Great build man.

Thank you very much!

I thought about putting Krark in the command zone, as many others did. It's true that Okaun and Zndrsplt can easily tutor for each other, thanks to their "partner with" ability, but I can't see it as a valid point.

The main con about changing commanders is that Krark doesn't care about winning coin flips, he just makes you flip. So you actually need to abuse of Krark's and Sakashima's abilities (playing a lot of cheap spells and clone effects) to dig into your deck for a storm spell. This requires big changes in the decklist and at that point I don't think that Okaun and Zndrsplt would actually be useful for the purpose of the deck, like many other coin flipping spells. I think that Krark can be perfect for a spellslinger/storm deck, but for a coin flip theme he can fit better in the 98, playing as a supporting character.

I like to think of him as the old master of his one eyed pupils
