This is my attempt at a inspired/herioc standard deck. I have had the idea to do an inpsired deck for a little while now and could not really put my mind on exactly how do to it so here goes my attempt. Please note that I have chosen cards for post rotation in an attempt to make this deck last longer.
King Macar, the Gold-Cursed This is the guy that gave me the idea for an inspired deck, with multiple ways of untapping him through instants such as Triton Tactics and Cryptics. I can also tap him safely by either enchanting him with Aqueous Form or through Springleaf Drum. His inspired ability is one of the most powerful.
Springleaf Drum
This makes this entire deck work. It is the swiss army knife and the hammer to this deck, allowing me to tap early game to give myself extra mana but still have the ability to stay on defense with a triton shore tactics in my hand. In the middle to late game it allows to me to set off my inspired abilities, and not just once per turn. Through the use of tapping the inspired ability by either attacking with aqueous form on them or tapping them through spring leaf and then untapping inspired creatures with triton tactics or crypsis then retapping them with springleaf and the end of their turn so I would get their inspired abilities again on my turn.
Arbiter of the Ideal
My other Inspired creature, the bonus to this creature is that it is flying and so can usually be safely tapped through simply attacking. Its ability will allow to randomly get creatures out such as more indulgent tormentors with no mana cost and allow things to quickly get out of control for the better.
Hypnotic Siren I needed a simple one drop and this suits my need as it is flying and can be used later on through controlling their creatures that they have not sacrificed by using its bestow ability. Even though it is seven mana I think this can be negated through using King Macar's ability to get mana and by tapping creatures with Springleaf.
Artisan of Forms
Another multipurpose tool that is very cheap, this allows me to copy Arbiter of the Ideal or another of my opponents creatures that would be useful through her heroic ability.
Agent of the Fates
Another cheapish creature with a great herioc ability. Through this and Macar I hope to limit my opponents ability to keep creatures on the board.
Indulgent Tormentor This creature will most likely help me with draw power as most will not choose to sacrifice a creature with agent of the fates and king macar possibly running around or even worse take three damage a turn. On top of that it is also a flyer with power 5 and with a simple eternal thirst could become very nasty.
Aqueous Form
This will allow me to do one of three things; either allow me to set off heroics, to safely tap inspired creatures and doing damage, or go onto anything with eternal thirst to guarantee some lifelink. On top of all this it allows me to scry.
Eternal Thirst
Another way to set off heriocs and with the possible creature removal of the deck to pump up creatures while gaining life back as they attack or defend.
Crypsis
A way to untap inspired creatures during an opponents turn and set off heroics.
Triton Tactics Another way to untap creatures in opponents turn and set off heroics, has the added benefit ofkeeping their creatures tapped in their phase.
